It's been a few months since Max and the others started school. They've improved in many areas and are pleased with their progress. With summer approaching, students have the option to go home, but it's not mandatory. Max plans to return home for the break and wonders if Maki will do the same. "Hey, love? Can I ask you something?" Max inquires with a smile, looking at Maki. "What's up?" responds Maki. "I was curious if you're going home or staying here for the summer," Max asks. "Oh, I'm planning to stay here," Maki replies. "Well, if you'd like, you're welcome to stay with me!" Max offers enthusiastically. "Really!? You'd let me do that?" Maki asks in surprise. "Of course! My mom would be totally fine with it!" Max assures, taking Maki's hand and kissing it gently. Maki blushes and embraces Max, murmuring a soft "thank you." Time skip-- "Come on, you two, we need to get to the airport!" Alice calls out cheerfully. "We're on our way!" Max replies, grabbing the last of his belongings. Max and Maki exit as Alice locks the door behind them. Eventually, they arrive at the airport and board the plane. Max has also invited Alice and Andy to his home and had informed his mom in advance.
