♡ﾟ･｡｡･ﾟ♡ﾟ･｡♥｡･ﾟ♥ 𝒂𝒄𝒕 𝒕𝒘𝒐: 𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒔? ♥ﾟ･｡♥｡･ﾟ♡ﾟ･｡｡･ﾟ♡

As they entered the club, Lando led Maya to the VIP section where the drivers would be. Amidst the excitement and happiness of reconnecting with Lando, Maya totally forgot about how nobody else knows about their little past, Charles specifically, so walking into the club with him would surely bring up plenty of questions. She could totally lie and say she just happened to run into him outside but it seemed too obvious and she figured she would have to tell him either ways.

"Oh my god MAYA IS HERE", Lily screeched as Maya walked in. She aggressively shook Lily Z's shoulder to make the girl turn away from her conversation with her boyfriend, Oscar, and look at who actually came. Both girls rushed to Maya, hugging her tightly as though they didn't see each other only a few hours ago.

"Oh god the girlfriend stealer is here. Everyone hide your girlfriends", Alex called out, his mocking being a way of greeting Maya. "If you can't keep a girlfriend then that isn't my fault Albono", she shrugged, ruffling his hair. 

"If it isn't the traitor", Pierre jokingly side eyed her. "Shut the fuck up, I'm here now am I not?", she rolled her eyes. "Which makes me wonder why? how?", he chuckled giving her a quick hug. "Do you want me here or not?", she rebutted. "Fine you can stay I guess", it was his turn to roll his eyes.

"Maya, it's been soo long how are you?", Yuki greeted her next. "It has hasn't it? I've been great thank you! how have you been?", she smiled widely. She loved Yuki. Everyone loved Yuki. "Not too bad", he replied.

She then greeted Oscar, who seemed lovely and polite before making her way to Daniel and Max. "How's my favourite lawyer doing? It's been too long", Daniel gave his signature smile before engulfing Maya in a tight hug. 

"She's been doing amazing! A bit stressful getting a new internship but I found something and it's not too bad", she grinned.

"P is actually eating my head off asking when she will meet Maya again. Please come and play with her for a bit in the red bull garage tomorrow, she will cry otherwise", Max begged. 

"Hi Max! I'm doing good thanks for asking", she joked, Max rolling his eyes at it. "Of course I would love to play with P. I'm only really friends with you for her", she joked. "Yes I know", Max sighed.

Finally she got to Carlos and Charles. The two shocked Ferrari drivers had been eyeing Lando and Maya ever since they entered. Carlos because he couldn't believe Lando succeeded. And Charles because he was confused as to why they entered together.

"Qu'est-ce que c'est?", Charles asked and Maya immediately knew he was referring to her entrance with Lando.

He chose to speak in French instead as he didn't know if Maya would want everyone to know. It's a thing they had started doing since he started in f1. Sometimes, when they wanted to communicate without others understanding, they would speak in French. Usually they were surrounded by either English or Italian speakers so it worked.

"Rien, je te le dirai plus tard", she replied, hoping Charles would get the signal. Thankfully, he did.

"Hola Maya! It's been soo long. You should definitely visit the paddock more now", Carlos spoke in a suggestive tone as he glanced between Lando and Maya before greeting her with a hug. "He told me everything", he managed to whisper while hugging her.

Maya was a bit appalled, she definitely didn't expect that. But the smile never left her face, in order to not seem suspicious. "Well I do have a demanding job so it isn't as easy", she replied.

"Charles tells me otherwise", Carlos shrugged. "Advice for future, never listen to Charles", Maya winked. "I'm right here you know?", Charles whined.

"Hola Cabron! Someone changed their mind", Carlos greeted Lando. Only then did Maya realise that Lando was behind her all throughout. He seemed to just follow her, like a lost puppy.

Everyone had now gathered into a big circle. "Yeah what happened to your date?", Alex questioned, giggling like a child while doing so. 

Maya could've been the next best f1 driver with how quick her eyebrows were raised. She caught Kika's eye, only to see a mirrored expression on her friend's face as well.

'Did he really tell everyone he was going on a date? Is that what he thought and expected this whole time?', she thought. 

Lando seemed to have noticed Maya's face, panicking as he did.

"Don't tell me she ditched you already", Max joked. "Oh will you guys shut up? It wasn't a date! I already told you guys before", Lando tried to play the situation cool.

"Wait Charles you told me Maya was with friends. But she's here now?", Daniel voiced out.

"And somehow Lando, who had a date with a mysterious girl, seems to also be here now", Pierre caught on.

Soon, everyone understood what Daniel was insinuating at. Slowly eyes widened and mouths started hanging open.

Lily was the first to speak up. "YOU AND LANDO? NO FUCKING WAY SINCE WHEN", she yelled. After this, there was just a bunch of questions being thrown at them at once, all the voices overlapping.

"WHAT?"

"HOW DARE YOU NOT TELL US?"

"HOW LONG?"

"UNBELIEVABLE"

and many more.

Lando and Maya felt like they were trapped in the middle of a circle full of hungry animals that wanted food, or in this case, answers.

"GUYS", Maya shouted, trying to get them to shut up. "GUYS", Lando tried.

"GUYS", they both simultaneously yelled, the loud noise forcing everyone to shut up.

"Firstly we are not dating. I've made this soo crystal clear", Lando said, slightly exasperated. "And secondly we've known each other for like a day, how do you expect us to be dating?", Maya added. 

However, Carlos and Kika both snorted, making the rest more confused. "I hate both of you guys", Maya glared at the two. They just shrugged, fist bumping each other, proud of what they achieved.

"What the hell is happening?", Charles finally spoke up. His gaze was fully fixated on Maya. He wanted answers. They all did. And both Maya and Lando knew there was no getting out of it anymore. So they sighed, sitting down before starting to explain everything.

But the cats out of the bag now, YAYYYY(?) It's a tiny filler chapter just to get the ball rolling for act two. Hope you like it! 

ALSO just to let everyone know that if I include any other language like French or Spanish for example, I'll put the translation of what I said in the comments right next to it so it's easier for those who mightn't know. I do use Google translate for most of it so feel free to correct any mistake!!
