The love drink

Did Angel just heard right what Husk said?
"Wait what?"
"You heard me~"
With that the cat smiled and walked to the table.
"Wait, let's talk about it"
"We don't have time, I have a soul to gamble"
"Right..."
The spider was terrorized about what was going to happen.
He walked to Valentino that patted on the sofa to make him sit near him.
"What did they want?"
"They tried to convince me to work with them and to come back to the hotel"
"And what did you say?"
"I refused, I'm not stupid"
Valentino grabbed Angel's face and looked at him.
"Good boy"
Vox rolled his eyes disgusted and continued looking at his phone.
"Where the fuck is Alastor?"
"Vox, c'mon, you look obsessed"
"FUCK YOU"
The tv man stood up and walked to Angel, he then picked him from the dress and shouted at him.
"YOU TOLD ME HE WAS COMING"
Vox pushed Angel on the table without letting his dress go.
"I-I can't control him, he said he was coming!"
"Vox stop it!"
Valentino also stood up and tried to make Vox go away from Angel.
"I hate you, you are a fucking bitch, I-"
"Stop it Vox"
Now all three of them were on the table, Vox on Angel trying to strangle him and Valentino trying to impede that.
"Hey!"
A deep voice made the three stop to look at who was talking.
It was Husk, he had a hand on the hip and with the other one he was distractedly playing with dices.
"Leave Angel alone"
"Or what? You're going to purr at me?"
"Or I will beat your ass right now"
"No, I can do it"
Angel didn't want already a mess so noticing that Vox let his guard down, with a leg he pushed him away and sat on the table.
"HOW DARE YOU-"
"We have an offer for you"
Vox looked at them and then started laughing with Valentino.
"Are you going to give us a free treatment to get redeemed?"
Charlie closed her fists and angrily looked at the two overlord.
"I would like to gamble Angel's soul in a card game"
"What?"
"You heard me"
Valentino already started shaking his head while Vox continued talking.
"And you're really thinking Valentino would ever do it for free?"
"You don't want to know what you get if you win?"
"Let's hear it"
"You could win Alastor's soul"
Everyone remained silent for a whole minute while Alastor materialized near Husk.
"HOLY FUCK-"
"No"
"VALENTINOOOO"
Vox jumped on the table and tried to shake Husk's hand.
"I need to play with Valentino"
"I refuse to do it"
"Vãləntïnœ!!"
The tv man was literally glitching and his face was showing a blue error page.
"No, I'm not going to gamble my favorite and most important actor"
"Why?!"
"What if I loose?"
"But you're not going to loose, we have strategies, power and tricks!"
"If we don't win I swear I will find another way to get Angel's soul back"
"No thanks"
Angel mumble that without thinking and Valentino looked at him with a death stare.
"Shall we start?"
Alastor sat down and materialized a stack of cards.
"Sure"
The two Vs sat down and waited for the cards.
Angel decided to stood up in front of the table.
"Angelcake, come sit with me"
"Angel, you can sit next to me if you want"
"He is still my property, he does what I decide"
"Let's do this, he will seat next to who is winning the game"
Charlie smiled when Husk and Valentino approved her idea.
"We choose what to play: Magnus game"
"What's that?"
"One of the most difficult game of all hell"
Magnific, Angel was a mess with cards and now he was about to assist a play of the Magnus game.
"We all know the rules right?"
No, but Angel didn't care.
He was sweating and adrenaline made him be rigid.
"Let's start the game"
Valentino and Husk were the one playing, but Alastor and Vox could watch the cards and recommend moves.
"Broken heart"
"Sibylline tongue"
What the hell was going on?
The spider wanted to start laughing hysterically at what was happening.
Both player revealed the cards, Valentino cheered while Husk gave him some fishes.
"Angel, come"
Angel sat next to Valentino and waited.
"Melodious song"
"Skeptical name"
They revealed their cards.
"Fuck!"
Valentino pushed some fishes to Husk.
The cat smiled and nodded telling Angel to come.
Husk was on a chair and there weren't anymore seats.
"I think I'm going to stand"
"If you want you can sit on my lap..."
Angel nodded and sat on Husk's lap.
He didn't had excuses, he just wanted to stay close to the cat.
"Did you understand the game?"
"Not really, what are those things you say before revealing the cards?"
Husk's warm hand gently wrapped his waist making Angel have goosebumps all over his body.
"They're the name of the groups of cards, it's similar to poker but way more complicated"
"North wind"
Husk looked at his cards.
"I pass"
The game continued like this for a little, Angel continued to switch seats and Husk continued to play.
He was again with Husk waiting for new strange words from the two players.
"Sibylline tongue"
"Love potion"
The spider jumped when he heard that.
"Talking about this kind of thing, I want to offer all of you a love drink"
"What's that?"
"You should understand it from the name"
"You want to make us fall in love with you?"

Husk was obviously being sarcastic but he noticed that Angel stiffen when he said it.
"So funny, it's a little pink drink, when you blow on it, it shows you the one you truly love"
Valentino smiled at Angel.
"Don't you think it's a great idea Angel?"
"Val please..."
"Waiter! Seven love drink, quick"
"So Husk, how are the things going at the casino?"
Husk eyeballed him angrily, Valentino really knew how to piss people with their problems.
"Oh yeah sorry, I forgot you sold it to someone who can't even do his job.
That's a shame, it was a beautiful casino before the new owner arrived"
Angel quickly picked out his phone, wrote a message to someone and he whispered in Husk's ear:
"Later I may have a surprise for you"
A waiter arrived with seven pink drink.
Everyone blew on the drinks.
In Charlie's and Vaggie's drink appeared each other.
Husk couldn't see what the other had, but from behind he tried to see who was in Angel's drink.
The spider blew on it and instantly drank all of it, not giving Husk the possibility to see who Angel truly loved.
The cat also blew on his drink and Angel's face appeared in it.
Why did Angel try to hide his drink?
Was he still in love with Valentino and didn't want to hurt Husk's feelings?
Angel one time, late in the night when their conversations became deep with a lot of feelings and a lot of pain, reveled to Husk that he had a relationship with Valentino.
But he thought it was an old thing, he still thought he could have a possibility with Angel.

When Angel blew on the drink Husk's face appeared on it.
He quickly drank it, hoping that Valentino wouldn't see it.
He absolutely didn't had to know that the love potion he gave Angel years ago finally wasn't working anymore.
Times ago Angel had read on a book how the love spell worked and he kept the page that explained it, hoping that someday he would be free from Val:
