So guys, Monsta made this announcement that BoBoiBoy Tempest may (or may not) wear his cap during his transformation.
They said BoBoiBoy loses his cap during a situation of uncertainty or weakness.
His cap is a symbol of awakening and self-confidence.
Simply put, BoBoiBoy's cap will signify his control or not on his third-tier elemental powers in the animation.
So in the upcoming animation, Tempest may wear his cap but will perform without the iconic hat depending on BoBoiBoy's condition or feelings.
