A lil tiny mermaid Floyd with his oversized bf, someone named sillypanda came up with the brilliant idea that Floyd ran away from home to find a prince based off his favorite stories which were all written by Veneer and Veneer was basing the princes off of himself as a means to make himself a little more courageous than he actually is. But gets kidnapped and taken to a petshop for Velvet to buy for Veneer as a means to replace Sparkles.
So when Floyd finally meets Veneer he actually realizes that Veneer's his own being with passions and dreams plus flaws, so little Floyd falls in love with him because of those flaws.
