She held her breath as he sat down next to her. His book slipped from his hands, and he nervously cleared his throat. Intak didn't usually act this way. He was cold, rude, and unbothered most of the time. But this Intak was different. He was nervous. He was avoiding eye contact and was fidgeting with his hands.
"So.. do you wanna work on the project later today..?" Sunhee spoke up first to break the awkward silence between them. Intak nodded his head, "yeah, sure." The rest of the lesson was quiet and boring as usual, but this time, Intak was making it harder for her. She glanced at him from time to time and she noticed he did the same.
The bell rang as a sign that the lesson was finally over. Intak immediately walked out of the classroom and disappeared in the crowd of students. Sunhee took a deep breath and started walking towards the cafeteria. She was listening to music through her earphones and finishing her Maths homework. She needed to study for an upcoming test. She always felt the need to be perfect at every subject or else she felt like a disappointment.
She wanted to look for Intak and start working on the project. The sooner they start working on it, the sooner they'll finish. And that's what Sunhee wanted the most. She just wanted to finally get it over with.
She walked through the hallway and had no idea where to look for Intak. He could be anywhere. Anywhere in that big school that sometimes felt like it was creating a labyrinth. She walked past the music practice room and heard a familiar song. It was.. right here by chase atlantic if she wasn't mistaken. She decided to listen for a while before looking for Intak again. The person in the music practice room was really talented, she had to admit. She loved music and everything connected to it. She wanted to tell the person how amazing that was so she opened the door and she saw...
Her eyes widened in surprise when she realised Intak was the person in the music practice room. He seemed shocked when he saw Sunhee and quickly stopped playing the guitar and singing.
Sunhee leaned againts the doorframe and smiled. "Didn't know you were that good," she admitted and took a step further inside the room. Intak looked away from her and mumbled something to himself. "Thanks.." he said and stayed quiet.
She noticed the silence and snapped out of her thoughts. "Oh, um.. I was just looking for you because I wanted to ask about the project.. so.. do you wanna start working on it today? Shall we get started now or should we rather start in the afternoon?" she asked. Intak shrugged his shoulders but then answered: "We can start in the afternoon. Maybe around.. 5 pm?"
"Yes, i should be free around that time. Do you wanna work at my place or.. somewhere else..?" she asked him while looking awkwardly on the ground. "Yeah we can work at your place, im okay with that."A/N: sorry for not updating this story in a while.. this chapter is pretty short but I'm currently going through a lot and don't have motivation to write.. i'll try to get back on track as soon as possible! please, be patient with me.
