Still no reply.
Sunhee felt very frustrated and didn't know what to think. Unknown meant a lot to her and she felt so confused when he still hasn't replied to her message. Did he really find her that ugly? She felt stupid for thinking that way about herself. It couldn't be that, right? There had to be a reason why he still hasn't replied.
She couldn't take it anymore so she decided to text unknown and ask him about his sudden silence.
(Sunhee)
Am I that gorgeous that i made you speechless or do you really find me that unattractive? She sent the message and immediately regretted it. She groaned and anxiously stared at the phone.
Her phone buzzed.
Finally.
(unknown)
sorry for not replying, I was too busy admiring your beauty ;)Sunhee felt relieved and exhaled softly. She was so worried about nothing. Unknown was probably just too busy to reply. She should've thought about it earlier. His message made her smile and blush like crazy. How can a "stranger" make her feel so flustered when she doesn't even know his name?
(Sunhee)
I bet you were busy searching for your own good photo, right? She wanted to see his face. She really did. She pictured Unknown as a really attractive person in her head and she was anticipated to finally see his face.
(unknown)
what about keeping my face a secret for a little longer..?Sunhee stared at the message and frowned. Maybe he just wanted to make her feel more excited to see his face, she thought.
(Sunhee)
you're trying to be mysterious, aren't you?(unknown)
is it that obvious? She chuckled at the message and looked out of the window. She was just on her way to school. Sunhee was travelling by bus and the morning air was warm and smelt like fresh flowers. It was almost summer so she was wearing a floral dress with some white sneakers.
She stepped out of the bus and took a breath of the nice air. Wooyoung greeted her with a hug and they started walking to school together.
"So, did Unknown reply?" Wooyoung asked curiously. Sunhee nodded with a smile. "He did, but he said he wants to keep his face a secret for a little longer. Probably wants to be mysterious or something," she said with a slight chuckle. "He didn't send you a picture of his face? Well, there are only too option. He's either way too good looking or the opposite." Wooyoung said and opened the door to classroom.
Intak was sitting by his desk, and his eyes widened when he saw Sunhee. Sunhee would've swore he looked extremely nervous, which wasn't his usual behaviour at all. Wooyoung looked at Sunhee with raised eyebrows and whispered into her ear as they both sat down. "Why does he look so.. anxious?" he asked and glanced at Intak. Sunhee shrugged, "i have no idea, but I noticed his strange behaviour too. He started acting that way around me, but he seems even more nervous than before, maybe even a little.. scared?" she said and glanced at Intak as well. "I mean, yeah, you guys slept together, but.. I don't know. It seems like something's up with him." Wooyoung said while unpacking his school bag.
Intak suddenly stood up and started walking towards Sunhee and Wooyoung. Sunhee quickly looked at Wooyoung with a questioning expression on her face.
"Good morning.." Intak said shakily and looked at his feet. He was fidgeting with the keys in his hands, and he was avoiding eye contact. "Hey, Sunhee.. can we.. talk?" he hesitated and looked at her. Sunhee nodded, stood up and glanced at Wooyoung over her shoulder while following Intak's footsteps.
Intak led her to a less crowded part of the hallway and leaned against the wall with a sight. Sunhee crossed her arms over her chest and soon, the bell rang. "I should go to class. We can talk about anything you wanna talk about later, okay?" she turned to walk away but Intak quickly grabbed her wrist. "Wait! No! It's.. urgent. It can't wait. We have to talk. Now." he said and Sunhee slowly walked back to the spot she was standing in before.
"What do you wanna talk about?" she said and Intak took a step closer to her while keeping his eyes locked with hers. Sunhee felt quite flustered by his gaze and looked away. Intak pulled her chin up gently to make her look at him and look another step closer to her. They were way too close to each other at this point. Sunhee's heart was pounding in her chest and she could feel Intak's warm breath on her face. "Listen.. I hate you so much.. I hate you because I can't stop thinking about what happened that night. I've been thinking about you ever since that happened. And I hate myself for it as well. I can't get you out of my head, it's driving me crazy. I need this to stop." Intak said, never breaking the eye contact.
"I don't know how to stop this. I just.. need you. For at least once. Please." he said desperately and Sunhee was frozen in place. Her heart was pounding in her chest and she couldn't breathe probably. This was so wrong. She shouldn't give in. But she knew deep inside she wanted to do exactly what Intak wanted. "Intak.. this is wrong.." she whispered and Intak exhaled shakily. "I know it's wrong.. but I can't help myself. I wish I never slept with you because now all my life revolves around you." he said and spotted a teacher. He quickly took a step back and cleared his throat. "Sorry.. I.. I got a bit taken away.." Intak said before quickly walking to the classroom.
