Author's POV :-

Next morning;

Niharika walks out of the room after opening the door. She had already showered, but the glow had left her face. Her expression was emotionless, and her eyes were all red.

She started to move, but stopped upon seeing Maanveer curled up in a sitting position next to the door.

She felt strange because he continued to act as if nothing had happened. She was about to leave when Maanveer awoke and saw her. He smiled lightly.

Knowing that if he delayed any longer, the situation would only get worse, he came up to her and said, "I want to talk to you."

Niharika listened to him, but stepped aside to avoid him. However, he approached her from behind and grasped her hand before saying, "I want to clear up any misunderstandings, just listen to me first."

"It does not matter what you think; do as you please. I do not want to listen to anything," Niharika said, jerking his hand.

He heard her and was taken aback by her abrupt outburst; on the one hand, she seemed indifferent to the situation, but on the other, she was furiously arguing with him about it.

Maanveer attempted to speak once more, but Niharika interrupted him, asking, "Did you forget that I am the same girl that you accused and said a lot of nasty things about? Thus, I remain the same girl; please avoid me."

She pushed him and said as she descended the stairs and left the mansion. She went to the garden and sat quietly on the swing there, whence she began to think about whatever had happened the day before.

She was having a hard time forgetting anything. She was confused as to why she was feeling so hurt by everything; she had not wanted Maanveer in her life in the first place, so why was she upset to see him with another woman?

Perhaps as a result of her misgivings about how quickly he moved on. She dismissed all thoughts with a shrug and turned to face the sky.

She began to take a deep breath in a cool breeze, thinking that the weather was indeed very beautiful today. Her anger, though, was out of control.
