(My mermaid tail)
*My POV*
Ray, Sammy and I dived into the water and my feet turned into my mermaid tail. We were swimming around happily. Sammy took a bite of seaweed. "You should try some. It's good." Sammy said and I laughed. We swam a little bit more. "You've got to be kidding. My taste buds are a little bit more refined." Ray said, before he ate a jellyfish.
I laughed. "That's what you call refined?" I asked as I kept swimming with them. "Ooh, I love 'em!" Ray said, before he burped. "They do give me gas, though." Ray said, which causes Sammy and I to laugh as the three of us kept swimming. We were swimming through a coral reef. I ate some of the fish because I need some food too.
We swam through a group of seahorses. We were by a fish and Sammy poked it. Sammy made a face at him and Ray and I laughed. "You know, despite all the stories I heard, the ocean didn't seem like a scary place after all." Older Sammy said as the two turtles and mermaid kept messing with the fish, not noticing the larger fish behind them.
Ray reached into a rock and pulled out something he threw it up and I ate it. Sammy reach into the same rock, hoping to grab the same thing. "Ah!" Sammy said suddenly as he pulled his fin out from there and a crab was holding onto his fin. Ray laughed and we both gave the crab a stern look.
The crab let go of Sammy. I pushed the crab away from us gently. We were in the middle of a group of fish. Sammy and Ray blew into two large horns, making the group of fish swim away from us quickly. We all looked at each other and began laughing.
We were now swimming in the dark and Sammy and I noticed a glowing jellyfish. We smiled happily. Ray came over and tried to eat it, but Sammy stopped him. I touched it gently, and it began swimming away before it swam up. We watched it softly.

We were back on the raft. "It was a pretty great life out here. Time just seemed to fly by. Before we knew it, we had--well, we'd grown up. Well, almost grown up, that is." Older Sammy explained as it showed the two turtles and mermaid grown up a little. Sammy and Ray were getting their dead skin eaten off as I just watched. "This is the life, buddy!" Ray said as there was chatter from female turtles.
"No gas problems today, Ray?" Sammy and I asked. "Mm-mm. Feelin' pretty good! By the way, did you notice those two cuties leaving when we were coming in?" Ray asked Sammy. "No, didn't see 'em." Sammy answered. "Hey, they were checking you out." Ray said. "No, they weren't." Sammy said.
"Oh, yeah. Hey, do you think we'll be pals forever?" Ray asked Sammy and I. "For sure, forever and ever." I said. "Don't you?" Sammy asked. "Definitely! But at some point--n-now, I'm not saying now--but sometime in the future--well, we're gonna have to choose a mate, right?" Ray asked.
"Sure. Right." Sammy and I said as I began to think of my mate. "Have you ever thought about finding that someone special?" Ray asked. "I guess." Sammy said. Ray, Sammy and I were getting our backs scratched. "Hmm. So what's your type?" Ray asked. "I don't know." Sammy answered.
