Waiting For You

1. Tuesday (part 1)

It was a peaceful Tuesday, as always. College was starting. I was already in college? Time has flew by so fast. I'm too excited!
Luckily, I've passed all of the criterias of Pusan National University and got accepted.

There were a few hours left until I should've headed to there. I was getting ready, while Jihyoon was jumping around the room, looking at me applying makeup.

- Chae? - she called me - Can I try on this? - she pointed at my uniform
- Noo, don't you dare! It's pretty expensive, I won't forgive you if you tear it! - I answered with a serious face
- Then can I try on this lipstick? - she shamelessly took it from my hand
- Give it to me back IMMEDIATELY! - I screamed

Our stepmother heard all of the noise, opened the door, took my sister out of my room and closed the door with intense power. I knew what's going to happen next, but had to remain quiet.

Afterwards I put on my uniform, made my hair, fixed my backpack and went outside quickly.

As I was heading to the bus stop, a girl bumped in me out of nowhere. She seemed like she was in a hurry. She fell together with her backpack and all of her books and notebooks. I had to help her.

- Oh, I'm so sorry! - I apologized to her
- It's okay, I apologize! But...can you help me? I have to be quick! - she replied
- Sure!

When I bent down to collect her things, the first thing which catched my eye was her uniform.

- Are you ahead to Pusan National University? - I asked
- Y-yes, are you going there as well?
- Oh, so you are? I am as well! Is this your first year there?
- Actually yes! - she replied - Isn't it yours as well?
- I guess we're going to be classmates! My name is Kim Chaerin! I'm glad to meet you! - I introduced myself to her quickly while putting her things in her bag

The bus came and we both got inside as fast as possible.

- I'm Choi Aeri by the way! I guess I've already found my first friend from the university, haha :) - she said smiling.
- Thanks! Actually, I'm geniuenly curious, which school did you graduate from? - I started asking her random questions.
- I've been here in Busan for a few days already, I've graduated from Ulsan Girls' High School!
- You've lived in Ulsan? Lucky! When I was a kid, I lived in Jeonju for a few years as a kid and we had to move to here, I was honestly so sad.
- Jeonju is a wonderful place! By the way, which music genre do you listen to? - she asked me a question back
- I like listening to Twice, Girls' Generation, Gfriend, Iz*One...most of the iconic kpop girl groups out there! How about you?
- I like heavy metal and rock, haha, - she laughed again - But Twice is definitely a group, which I also like! Who is your bias*?
- Definitely Dahyun and Mina!

Then it was our turn to get off the bus. Here it was, the gorgeous building of the university standing in front of us. We couldn't stop staring at it. I still couldn't believe I was getting into college.
