The principal put a file on the table "Here is your schedule for the year, details for you community service, and your dorm with details. Your dorm will be with the rest of the team"

y/n dragged her luggage to her room and dug in the pocket of her jorts to find the key

"Hi! You're y/n l/n right? I heard you're from the city!" she said with a smile and stuck her hand out. Hot pink acrylics with lots of charms decorated her nails "I'm Tifa Lewis! I'm from Brooklyn!"
"Nice to meet you as well..." y/n placed her suitcase down "I'm from Manhattan, midtown"
"Cool! What brings you to Japan?" Tifa asked as she walked back to her bed and jumped up onto it, her blonde extensions bounced with her movements as she tied it up into a side ponytail with a big pink bow
"Caused too much trouble in the city, my mom sent me to Japan" y/n tossed her suitcase onto the bed and zipped it open pulling her clothes out
"Trouble for what?" Tifa tilted her head
"Car and motorcycle racing, mostly breaking the speed limit but I didn't know that PD cared that much"
"Oooh like Sean from Tokyo Drift?"
"Yeah, you watch Fast and Furious?" y/n asked as she pulled a jewelry box out of her suitcase
"An ex boyfriend did" Tifa tilted her head back and forth
"So did you come to Japan of have you been here for a while?" y/n asked as she dug through a box to get her wall decorations out
"Came here from the city, 'cause I wanted a good change of scenery. Japan was the first on the list!" Tifa giggled
"Really? What made it a top contender? I mean Japan is super pretty and there's so much about it that made it my first choice but what about you?"
"I'm gyaru! The culture came from Japan so here I am!" Tifa smiled
"Ooh that's so cool! I've never met a gal before but I love the culture and all subcultures" y/n said with a smile
"I'm honored to be the first gal you've met then!" Tifa's smile extended across her face "Are you doing any clubs?"
"Principal has me on baseball team playing since my history as a player" y/n said as she tossed her pillows and teddy bear onto the bed
"Really? A player? But it's a boys team." Tifa laid on her side and tugged at her pink Juicy tracksuit
"Yeah, that's what I said but I used to play for a real good team as a pitcher at the Yankee Stadium"
"Ooh! The Mavericks! That's so cool! Well I'm managing the team so we'll be together" Tifa rolled onto her stomach
"Awesome" y/n grinned
