What have you done to me?

I stood with closed eyes just letting the cool breeze hit my face.

I need a chance to explain.
I at least deserve that. Don't you think?

Her words rang in my head.

Great!
Just when everything was getting back to normal my life has to fuck up.

"Dev." I heard that voice again.

The same voice I am trying to forget and leave behind.

The same voice which I was waiting for to hear for so many years and finally I hear it I realize that I no longer want to hear it.

"Will you talk to me? Give me 5 minutes. I won't ask anything more than that." I heard and I clenched my fist to control my anger and frustration.

"I suggest you stay away from him." Karthik interrupted and I was thankful for that because I had no energy to turn around and talk to her.

"You are no one to tell me that." She said irritated and I turned around glaring at her.

"Do not disrespect him. You're here for the reunion you can enjoy it. Don't get into my way." I said.

"I believe we have nothing to discuss. So, please you can keep your distance from me." I  walked away searching for Ishika who came to me some time ago when I was busy crying over the bad memories.

I need to apologize to her.

"Hey! Are you okay?" Arshi asked as she and Sameer walked to me and I just gave her a small fake smile.

Nothing was okay with me.

"Ishika is not with you? Where did she go?" I asked frowning because I could not see her anywhere.

"She said she went to talk to you, so I thought she was with you." She said and I ran my hand frustratedly in my hair.

Great.

I quickly removed my phone from my pocket and dialed her number.

When I heard an unwanted voice again,
"Don't be soo hard on me Dev. Please!"

I just glared at her because right now I could care less about what she wanted.

Where the hell did Ishika go?

"Can you call her? She is not receiving my call." I said with a worry laced voice.

"Did something happen with you two? She said she would talk to you." Sameer asked and I nodded in positive just ignoring the existence of an unwanted person beside me.

"Dev! Will you-- I interrupted her and yelled at her gaining attention of a lot of people.

"Do you not understand that I do not want to be in your vicinity? And right now I have more important things to worry about. So, just leave me the fuck alone." I said and removed her hand that gripped my wrist.

"She just texted me that she took a cab and has reached home." Sameer said as he was also trying to call her.

"I am leaving. Bye." I said to no one in particular and left from there.

So fucking great!

"I bring her as a date tell her we would leave when she is uncomfortable and instead I lash out on her and let her leave by a fucking cab!" I said irritated as I talked to myself.
