When you make a
Genuine apology
You agree to stop
The action that hurt me
But you don't make
A genuine apology
It's always
A petty apology
Such as
"I'm sorry I made you feel that way"
A petty apology is
When the genuine
Doesn't exist
A petty apology
Is when you continue
The action
The words
That hurt me
At some point
Your apologies mean nothing
Nothing
Your words are empty
They hold no meaning
Quit apologizing
Start fixing yourself
Stop the actions
That are hurting me
Hurting us
Once you do
Maybe your apology
Won't be petty
It will be genuine
Petty is unacceptable
Genuine is what we really need
