Victoria G: What inspired you to become a singer?
Songbird: My dad. He is also a musician so when he would play songs for my brothers and I it was always my favorite thing. Also Miley Cyrus on Hannah Montana! Seeing her perform on stage was so inspiring.
VG: What is your favorite thing about singing?
S: I love being able to express myself through music and performing.
VG: Who are your musical inspirations?
S: Adele, Lana Del Rey, Sara Bareilles
VG: What is your songwriting process?
S: I come up with a concept and start writing. As I write I come up with a loose melody idea that can always be changed.
VG: What messages are important for you to express through your music?
S: That you can be anything you want to be. Never let anyone stop you for living your dreams!
VG: Do you play any instruments?
S: Yes! Piano.
VG: How would you describe yourself in three words?
S: Ambitious, Soulful, Collaborative
VG: Do you have any hidden talents?
S: I do love photography.
VG: Where do you see yourself in ten years?
S: Performing in arenas, selling out shows with albums out!

VG: What advice do you have for an aspiring singer?
S: Never give up, keep pushing for you and your music.
VG: What advice do you have for an aspiring songwriter?
S: Write about anything and everything that pops in your head. Also work with other songwriters and learn from them. Try different things out of your comfort zone.
VG: What's next for you?
S: I have a song coming out for my fiancé's movie! Hopefully later this year? Follow me to see when it drops!

S: Tight spaces, especially elevators.

S: Yes, 2 dogs they're named Maxx (16 years old) and Koda (1 year old).
