The recommended workout for ages 8 through 12 are basically acrobatics like swimming dancing running etc not too heavy weight should be lifted no more than twolbs should your child be lifting throughout this students of this age could participate in activities that include running jumping working their core etc during this you could also work on your eye coronation meaning if you want to play a sport that is very big on running and coronation some examples could be basketball soccer volleyball etc but at this age you shouldn't really be worried about workouts as I said you could dance you could swim or do jumping jacks but the main thing at this age is you should be taking care of your body by drinking water and eating healthy foods and yes this does include vegetables even if you don't like them eat them but this doesn't mean you can't have a sweet snack time to time just take care of your body and don't push yourself past your limits and always stay hydrated!!

They should aim for one of the following: at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity every week and strength exercises on 2 or more days a week that work all the major muscles (legs, hips, back, abdomen, chest, shoulders and arms) so by this time you could easily have access to gym or stay home gym so recommended workouts could be yoga Zumba going to the gym or anything that again works out your major muscles be sure to watch out for any strains or anything don't push yourself and stay hydrated yes even to this age you need to drink a lot of water and stay healthy

In case you have any questions on why I added ages 8 through 12 even though they are young children working out at young age could improve your health for when you get older meaning if you stay more active at these ages then you have a better chance for when you're older that means you're less at risk for any diseases you are more than likely going to have a better body when you're older meaning you have more adrenaline you have better knees you have a better back you're not as frail and this also means he can improve your face meaning you may not have as many breakouts or anything like that so staying healthy as young as possible is extremely well for your future and for your teenage years and like I said the main thing to keeping a healthy body and healthy workout routine is drinking water drinking water has many benefits the benefits of drinking water are less breakouts you feel less tired your hair is healthier your skin is more clear you have more energy it helps all your major organs like your brain your heart your kidneys your lungs and it keeps a very healthy flow of blood in your body and water has many other benefits so just make sure you drink water throughout the day no matter your age no matter your height no matter your weight and for any other workout hits that I did not include in here you could find on Google or fitness page or your nearby gym
