I REFUSE TO BOW

I refuse to obey  your rules,
I refuse to be subjugated,
I refuse to be maltreated,
To be treated like a slave,
I refuse to sing your songs because mine are enough for me to sing.

I have the right to do what I want,
I have the right to say no to things I don't want,
I have the right to say yes and do what I want to do.
And you have no right to force me to do things against my will.

I won't sit and watch you treat me like a slave
when I'm a king in my own country.
I have my own wishes.

I'll do what I want to do, not what you want me to do.
I won't submit myself to you.
You can't resist my movements.

I rise!
To defend my people,
To speak for the less privileged,
To put an end to the restrictions.
