In the bustling halls of the school, students hurried to their classes, their voices echoing off the walls in a cacophony of excitement and anticipation. Among them, Tashi walked with a heavy heart, his mood soured by a lingering sense of unease. As he made his way to his classroom, whispers and giggles followed in his wake, fueled by his visible frustration.

'Tashi seems really upset today,' one classmate whispered to another, their eyes darting furtively in Tashi's direction. 'Yeah, he's been in a foul mood all morning. I heard he got into an argument with his parents,' the other replied, shrugging nonchalantly.

Suddenly, a commotion erupted as Tashi's anger flared, his patience worn thin by the teasing of his peers. With a shout of frustration, he grabbed a nearby stack of books and hurled them against the wall, the clatter echoing through the hallway. 'Why don't you all just mind your own business for once?' he shouted, his voice cutting through the noise of the hallway.

Amidst the commotion, a figure emerged—a teenage girl named Dechen Lhaden. With determination etched on her face, she approached Tashi, unperturbed by the chaos around them. 'Hey, are you okay?' Dechen asked softly, her voice a soothing balm amidst the storm.

Tashi turned to her, his anger beginning to ease at the concern in her eyes. He tried to take a few sips of water from the bottle she offered, but his emotions were still too raw to swallow properly. 'I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cause a scene,' Tashi muttered, his voice tinged with embarrassment.

Without another word, Dechen offered Tashi a reassuring smile and gently took his arm, leading him away from the crowd. 'Here we can have some peace and quiet. Take your time, Tashi. Whenever you're ready, I'm here to listen,' she said, her voice carrying a sense of reassurance.

Tashi sat on a stone bench, his hands fidgeting with a stray thread on his uniform. Dechen, sensing his unease, settled beside him, her presence a comforting balm to his turbulent thoughts.

For a few moments, they sat in silence, the weight of the unspoken words hanging heavy in the air. Tashi took a deep breath, his eyes focused on a patch of wildflowers growing near their feet.

"Dechen," he began, his voice barely above a whisper. "About what happened in class today..."

Dechen turned to him, her expression gentle and encouraging. "You don't have to talk about it if you're not ready, Tashi. But if you want to, I'm here to listen."

Tashi swallowed hard, his emotions swirling inside him like a storm. He wanted to explain, to make her understand the turmoil that had led to the commotion in class. But as he opened his mouth to speak, the words caught in his throat, the overwhelming wave of emotion threatening to drown him.

His eyes welled up with tears, and he quickly looked away, ashamed of his inability to articulate his feelings. Dechen placed a hand on his shoulder, her touch warm and reassuring.

"It's okay, Tashi," she said softly. "You don't have to say anything right now. Just know that I'm here for you, no matter what."

Tashi nodded, grateful for her understanding. He took another deep breath, trying to steady himself. The garden's serenity slowly seeped into his bones, easing the tightness in his chest.

After a while, he managed to find his voice again, though it was still shaky. "I just... I felt so overwhelmed. Everything seemed to collapse on me all at once, and I didn't know how to handle it."

Dechen squeezed his shoulder gently. "It's alright, Tashi. We all have moments like that. What's important is that you recognize it and take steps to feel better. And remember, you don't have to go through it alone."

Tashi looked at her, his eyes filled with gratitude. "Thank you, Dechen. Your support means everything to me."

Dechen smiled, her presence a beacon of light in his dark moments. "Anytime, Tashi. We're in this together."
