"Eish! Mama, hurry up! I wanna go already!" Kamari yelled impatiently, banging on the bathroom door. "Baby, go to your Auntie's room, I'm gonna be a minute!" Kez shouted back, leaning against Will's chest as he held her, rubbing her shoulders for comfort. The symptoms were really acting up today. "Mama, are you okay?" Mari frowned sadly, hearing her mum start to cough. "I'm okay baby, I just need a minute. Go to Kallie and Lewis, take Sargeant with you."
"I hope you're okay, Mama." Kamari sighed before kneeling down next to Sargeant and attaching his harness. She clipped on the leash and they walked out, heading to the elevator. She pressed the floor they were on and waited, the lift stopping at the correct one. She walked out and went down the halls, searching for her Auntie's room number. She finally found it and knocked on the door, Sargeant remaining by her side. The door opened, Lewis's eyes widened at the girl, "Mari? What are you doing here by yourself?"
He quickly ushered her inside, and shut the door, confusion all over his features. "Mama told me to come here. She's throwing up in the bathroom again." Mari explained, letting go of Sargeant's leash as he laid down by her legs. She sat on the small sofa with a frown. "I'm sure she's fine, Mari. Your mother is very strong." Lewis said, but his words weren't super encouraging for her, not when she knew that Kallie almost died from cancer.
"Baby, who's at the door?" Kallie's voice echoed from the bathroom before she opened the door and walked out, pausing in her steps when she noticed her niece. "Kezie sent her here," Lewis said with a knowing look that Kallie nodded at, understanding what he meant. "Alright uh, Lew, get dressed, I'll take care of this," Kallie said, pressing a kiss to his cheek. He nods and gathered his stuff before going to the bathroom.
"Let's take care of this hair, shall we?" Kallie mumbled, grabbing some products and sitting on the sofa. Kamari moves to sit on the floor in front of her, already knowing the whole routine. Mari had very long and lengthy locs that were dyed purple because it was her favorite color, just like it was Kezie's favorite color. She added some product and massaged it in, making sure her scalp was moisturized. "You want it up or down?" She asked.
