DECEMBER 31ST NEW YEAR's EVE 7:48
ZUKOS POV
I had almost forgot that we were spending New Years at Tophs. Sokka wasn't lying when he said her house was the best on the block. It was fancy, with foods i didnt even think we're edible. So is this how it's like to be a Beifong? Sweet. I arrived at her house at 7:19, really late but no one seemed to mind. about 30 minutes later everything was set up and Sokka was just about to show me the guest room where i would be staying at. The thought of me and Sokka being alone in a room even if he was jusrt showing it to me made me red a bit. He showed me a nice looking room and thank him for it. I stayed inside the room, and soon heard a wave of guests entering the house and loud music. I just stayed on my phone.
SOKKAS POV
"HAPPY NEW YEAR's EVE EVERYBODY!" I yelled out across the dance floor and a few people cheered. I was making my way to the kitchen when I saw something devastating... It was Suki. But not only Suki, but Suki with some random dude making out?! How could she do this to me. We were the perfect couple... I feel tears forming and my nose getting hot. I make my way over to her and just...
"So is this what you do? After being together for 3 years? You just go on and make out with some random douchebag?" I yell out to her. She quickly turns around in fear.
"Sokka! Oh man.. It's not what it looks like! I promise..!" She puts her hands on my wrists. I'm going to miss her touch.
"It's exactly what it looks like! After 3 years me doing nothing but loving you for all i could, giving you affection, caring for you, kisses and gifts, you repay me with absolutely nothing but you being a cheater! I loved you Suki I really, really did. And I guess the entire school will be happy to know that also." I yell out to her, a few people bat an eye. "Oh Sokka, please I'm so sorry." She tried to calm me down but I'm fuming with anger. I feel hot tears stream down my face. "Forget it Suki. Forget everything. Forget those gifts. Forget it! Forget it! Forget me!" I cry out, and storm upstairs and open a random door.
ZUKOS POV
I was just on my phone when my door to my temporary room opens. It's Sokka? and he's.. crying? He then just jumps onto me, I blush but i wrap my hands around him.
"She cheated on me! that.. bitch! She cheated on me! I loved her Zuko, I really.. really did." Sokka explains to me whilst sobbing into my shoulder, I figured he was talking to Suki. I rub his back sympathetically.
"I loved her.. so much. And i just saw her.. I cant.." Sokka calmed down a bit but cried even more. Seeing him this sad made me almost break down too. Sokka was always happy. But Sokka was always a human, with feelings. I never really visioned him to ever cry but here I am now.
"Zuko.. promise me you won't leave me how she did?" He made eye contact with me. His blue beautiful eyes were overcome with tears and redness. He looked a mess.
"I promise" I said, not really knowing what to say. He went back in my arms and fell asleep. I was really flustered but didn't say anything. I too fell asleep like this. I felt warm, and safe, like I always do in Sokkas arms.
