- "I'll be waiting here," Ijichi told the trio as he pulled up into the McDonalds parking lot. "I have a few calls to make. "
- "Alright, we'll get you something to go then, when we're done," Gojo hummed lightly as he got out of the car.
Eliana followed the two starving boys inside the fast food. Thinking about it, the situation was completely absurd. She had just fought an unregistered S-grade curse 20 minutes ago, and was now about to eat a BigMac, with her lifelong best friend and his student.
"That's the kind of moments where I wish Suguru was there", she thought.
As they approached the counter to place their orders, Eliana couldn't help but notice a group of girls sitting nearby, their attention seemingly fixated on them. They kept whispering with each other and shooting rapid glances at the trio. Finally, one of the girls from the group mustered up the courage to approach Gojo, and ask for his number.
Gojo, ever the charmer, flashed her a dazzling smile.
- "Sorry, sweetheart, but I don't give out my number that easily," he replied with a playful wink.
The girl's cheeks flushed bright red, but she seemed undeterred.
- "Well, it was worth a shot," she mumbled before scurrying back to her friends, who were watching the exchange with wide eyes.
Eliana couldn't help but chuckle at the interaction, finding it amusing how effortlessly Gojo could charm just about anyone. Though she was confused on why he didn't give her his number. She wasn't ugly, far from it. Tall, brunette, with bright blue eyes...
Kinda like the girl from the diner actually, which she guessed would be his type. Though this one at least was well-mannered, compared to the other...
- "So," Eliana began, unable to resist teasing him a little. "Didn't feel like giving out your number today?"
- "Eh, not really my cup of tea," he replied nonchalantly, avoiding her gaze as he took a bite of his burger.
- "Tall, with big blue eyes? Not your type?"
Gojo's gaze flickered briefly to hers, a hint of amusement gleaming in his eyes before he turned his attention back to his meal.
- "I prefer green eyes," he said, his tone casual yet tinged with a hint of something unreadable.
Although she was slightly caught off guard by his words, she rapidly brushed it off as simple banter, pushing the thought away as they continued their conversation. Yeah she had green eyes, but so did... Well.
Two percent of the population, according to the stats.
- "I'll be right back, going to the restroom," the white haired sorcerer suddenly said as he stood up.
Yuji waited patiently for the white haired man to leave the table, and as soon as he was out of earshot, he leaned in closer to Eliana, his expression serious.
- "Eliana-san, you do whatever you want with this information, but I think my sensei likes you".
Eliana's eyes widened slightly in surprise as she processed Yuji's words. She set her burger down for a minute. If it was the green eyes thing as well...
- "Yuji... Gojo and I, we've known each other since we were like... 12. And we've been best friends ever since."
Besides a 10 years break, of course. But she wasn't about to tell the teen about this.
- "I just said, you do whatever you want with this information," he replied lightly before she got the chance to continue talking. "I just wanted to tell you my.. you know. Outsider point of view."
