"Sparsh, lemme go!" cried Ragini.

"Say 'I love you' and I'll let you go!" demanded Sparsh.

It was 7 in the morning and Sparsh was not ready to let go of his wife. He inhaled her scent and whispered, "You smell sexy!"

"Lemme go Sparsh. I need to help Ma in the kitchen later."

Sparsh licked her lips before sucking them, making Ragini moan. He pulled her closer and sucked her neck while she whispered, "I need to go."

"I fucking love you!" whispered Sparsh and bit her earlobe while his fingers crawled on her bare back.

"I can feel it."

"Feel my love?"

Ragini shook her head and said, "That thing."

Sparsh tilted his head before realising what she meant and chuckled. He grabbed Ragini's hand and put it over his bare cock. "You wanna touch it?"

Ragini moaned while her hands rubbed it and Sparsh kept looking at her while his eyes screamed hunger for his lovely wife.

"Why is it so hard first thing in the morning? Are you aroused?"

"That's something called morning wood. Men wake up with this."

Ragini pulled her hand out and kissed Sparsh's lips before getting out of the bed. "You wanna join me for shower?" Sparsh nodded with extreme excitement and followed her to the bathroom.

"Bye, wifey!" Sparsh planted a kiss on Ragini's lips before leaving.

"Ragini, I won't be coming home for lunch. Make sure you grab something to eat. And take care," said Ma before leaving for her friend's house.

Ragini was alone at home. She decided to bring her laptop to the living room downstairs. She began working. A few hours later, she heard the doorbell and went to answer the door. To her surprise, it was Sid.

Without any words exchanged, they came inside. Sid sat on the couch and Ragini went into the kitchen and returned with a glass of cold water.

"Are you working?" asked Sid while sipping his water.

Ragini nodded.

The silence fell between them. None of them knew the way to start the conversation. Sid kept gazing at her and Ragini kept playing with her fingers, nervously.

Somehow, Ragini gathered the courage to ask, "Why did you quit the company?"

Sid, with his eyebrows furrowed, replied with a slightly annoyed tone, "They asked me why we broke up. They asked me why you got married to someone else. They laughed at me behind my back. Some looked pathetically at me. Everyone was curious about what happened between us. How was I supposed to stay there after all this? I had no answer to their questions, I felt helpless."

Ragini pitied him and said with a cool tone, "Siddharth, just forget everything. Forget everything that happened between us and move on. I've found my happiness with your brother. It's time to find yours!"

Sid chuckled and said, "I'm not you! I can't forget anything so easily. I can't forget the time we spent together in a few days, just like you did."

Ragini didn't like the way Sid blamed her for everything that happened between them. It was him who abandoned her. He had no right to taunt her and make her feel guilty.

"You left me, I didn't. Your brother made me believe in love again. He made me feel loved. I didn't forget you in a few days. It took me months. I ignored your brother in the meanwhile, I hurt him and made him feel alone. Because of you, I hurt him. I didn't love him, but I got married to him because I was taken over by my anger towards you. I hated you and married him for revenge. But, he made me forget those hard feelings for you. His warmth took a toll on me and I forgot about my revenge, my hate. I just wished to be a good wife to him. I wanted to be a good daughter-in-law to your parents."

After a pause she talked again, "Don't blame me for your cowardice. And I'm not gonna make you feel guilty anymore as I got to marry your brother because of you. You know what, thank you for breaking up with me and making our marriage happen. I don't resent you even a little bit because I'm thankful to you. Trust me, I mean everything I just said."

Ragini stood up to walk away when Sid grabbed her wrist. "You should have slapped and forced me to marry you!"

"I'm not a pushover, Siddharth. I've my self-respect. And these things don't matter now. I love your brother."

"Can you stop calling me Siddharth? Call me Sid, like you used to."

"Stop doing this. You are making this difficult for yourself! Leave my hand."

Sid walked to her, her wrist still in his hand. "Can't you give me one more chance? I promise I'll be good."

"Don't disappoint me more, I'm begging you. Sparsh loves you, he's always worrying about you. At least, think about him before uttering this nonsense."

Ragini freed her wrist from his grip and left for her room. Sid stared blankly at her back. He resented himself. He resented his cowardice which took her away from his life. He regretted his decision of breaking up with her. He was full of regrets and resentments but the one he despised the most was his brother. His obsession with Ragini made him resent his brother whom he once adored. He abandoned his love for his brother once and now he wanted it back. He wanted his love back. He wanted Ragini back, even if he had to kill someone to make it happen.
