and there it is Nikki here's that one voice that she was trying to avoid that one voice all breaks. but Nikki can't help but think why Nora's helping her they don't exactly have the best record
"I didn't need you to help me" Nikki says clearly annoyed since she hasn't been able to get rid of Nora's annoying presence all morning.
"Oh, so what you just wanted the ball to come and possibly re-arrange your face?!" Nora asks
"I'd totally be up for it than having you save me ." replies Nikki
"you are just clumsy you are just always waiting for me to save you from trouble aren't you sweetie?" asks Nora while smirking
this makes Nikki flustered because did the one girl that she hates the most just call her sweetie?
like what does this even mean ?!
"ARE YOU GUYS FUCKING BLIND? STOP BEING SO CARELESS YOU SHITHEADS IF THIS STUPID BALL COMES TO MY FACE ONCE MORE I'LL MAKE SURE TO CUT YOURS OFF"
says Nikki turning to the boys who almost hurt her perfectly sculpted face (please note that Nikki might just be a little obsessed with herself)
"AND YOU GET OUT OF MY FACE BYE " says Nikki to Nora
Nora just chuckles at Nikki's reaction she finds it funny how she can just get the worst out of Nikki.
"you love bothering her don't you?" says Rahul
"i do it's pretty entertaining to intimidate Nikki" replies Nora
"well-
"Well, we better get back to class. we wouldn't want to be late to Ms. jia class now would we ?" says Nora
"ugh we better run she dislikes the both of us so she'll kick us both out of class if we are late again" Rahul adds
the day goes by and Nikki can't help but feel weird about what happened during the break its weird how Nora saved its not like she was going to die hit her or whatever but why did Nora out of all the people in the school the one to save her. she can't help but think it's such a waste that some other good-looking person wasn't the one to save her what a waste to a romantic setting like this.
after the school day ends Nikki is finally home She is so happy to be home because honestly, school is hell even if you study well. her schedule after getting home is pretty simple she takes a shower to wash out her exhaustion and then eats another meal because school lunch is never enough and then re-watch Gilmore Girls or heartstoppper for the thousandth time because it is better than facing reality but she still has to do homework
at around 7 pm she is done with her homework and decides to call Aryan
"WASSUP BABYGIRL HOW WAS SCHOOL TODAY?" Aryan screams as soon as he picks up
"YOU NEVER GUESS WHAT HAPPENED! AND WHY WEREN'T YOU IN SCHOOL TODAY DO YOU KNOW HOW DEPRESSING IT WAS TODAY WITHOUT YOU TODAY?
"aww I'm so glad you missed me so much today but TELL ME THE TEA"
"OKAY SO BASICALLY today a ball literally almost hit my face i was ready to feel the impact but then. guess who came and saved me "

"YES THAT NORA BUT I WASN'T PLANNING HER DOWNFALL I JUST SAID THAT I WISH I GOT MORE MARKS THAN HER ONCE."
"okay whatever but wow she saved you that's kind of surprising "
"I know right AND she called me sweetie "

"noo there's literally nothing"
Aryan gives Nikki a 'Are you really being serious right now?' look
"Okay stop giving me that look can't a bisexual girl talk to another girl without being questioned if she feels something for the other girl"
"you know what okay fine you're right she probably doesn't have feelings for you i shouldn't have assumed"
Aryan just gives up on proving anything to Nikki.
"yes thank you you finally get my point"
"That's no point you made but whatever. but why do you hate Nora so much?" asks Aryan
"Well it kind of goes back to"
"it was the first day of 11th grade and we had an orientation remember how there was a commotion in the front it was because of Nora. the thing is I had kept my backpack on the chair and gone to pee and when I came back and tried to sit down someone pulled the chair and guess who it was Nora you'd think she would apologise for what she did but no she just took the chair and walked away like ?! how can someone even do that ?"
"Okay I agree she was douche but was it only that I mean I heard you guys were good friends in kindergarten and all.."
"oh yea that reminds in kindergarten we would have these pool days where we would go and chill in the kid's pool for an hour every month and one day I was standing on the edge of the pool and Nora pushed me she just shoved me into the pool and you'd think she got in trouble for that she didn't the teacher didn't believe me. ugh. and this wasn't the only instance where she tried to one-up me for absolutely no reason she would always try to one-up at everything we did i make something and she would purposely go an extra mile "
on the other line, Nikki hears Aryan laughing hysterically
"om-omg t-this is j-ust too funny" aryan says laughing
"I'm sorry I can't " he continues laughing
"haha yea it's so funny to hear how an asshole tried to sabotage her "
"I mean it is sad but it's still funny" says Aryan
Nikki rolls her eyes at him they continue catching up on homework how their day went and other gossip.
"Okay so I want to go on a drive so I'll text you later okay?" says Aryan
"Yeah sure I don't mind. Also, you are coming to school tomorrow right?" Nikki asks
"Yes I will be there." says Aryan
