normal days in the astral express usually consisted of you and your two partners either lazing around or going out together, with march being the most talkative one, and your mood depends on how much you'll talk, while danheng will chip in every once in a while
right now, on march's bed she was sitting on your lap while danheng sat next to you two with his arm pulled over her torso, her hands moved excitedly as she went and explained some new photos she got recently
"oh! look, this one was where we first met! at the space station, that feels like so long ago now.." march sighed contently as she laid against you "you know, I've been thinking..."
"thinking? that's not a good sign" danheng spoke teasingly, his fingers moving to pinch her cheeks, she groans and swats his hand away
"come on, I'm about to be serious!" she pouted for a second before turning to face you "we've all known each other for awhile, and we've been dating forever! but we've really talked about your past before"
"my past?" you questioned, your past...was there really anything there in your past? you just remember waking up with kafka by your side, and then sleeping again until the two found you
"i... suppose you and i are in the same situation, i don't really remember anything, i straight up just spawned"
"really?" your partners frowned "i guess we all have some mysterious past, huh...?" she sighed and leaded her head on your shoulder "i understand, do you get sad about it too?"
"... sometimes i do, it's odd, it's like there are things at the back of my mind, i just can't make it come up, i can't think hard enough to remember..." danheng's hand moved to grab yours, his expression almost made you wanna cry, seeing how worried he was
"well, maybe it's for the better that you don't remember" danheng spoke, his tone held regret "you might not be proud of what you've done, and wish you could've done something else, and forget it, to never associate with that self of yours..."
"danheng..." you gripped his tightly, not enough to hurt, but enough to remind him you're here
he squeezed it once as he sighs "i at least hope...your past is better than mine"
march frowns as she looked between the two of you "hey! guys, our past doesn't matter! we're not in the past, we're not in the future... we're in the present! it doesn't define us anymore,and nothing will change that!"
she moved to grab one of your and his hands "who cares what happened then? whatever it was, it brought us all together! if we made different choices then, we wouldn't have each other right now, and that's what really matters, that we've met each other"
"we're nameless for a reason, we trailblaze because we are our own people, with our own paths, and thats the way it'll always be"
"that...might just be the smartest thing you've ever said, march" danheng smiled at her, despite the teasing, he was relatively surprised at her heartfelt words
"hehe~" she smiles brightly "look at me, brightening up the mood...as always!" you smiled at her and held your arms out to hug her, squeezing her tightly while she giggles "danheng, you get in here too!"
he sighs softly as he leans forward, taking the both of you into his arms "march was right, our past...it doesn't define us anymore, and...i may not be proud of it, but im glad i met the two of you because of it"
you started planting kisses all over march's face, before she retaliates, kissing all over yours, danheng chuckles and leans in to press a firm kiss on your forehead, holding you tighter
