Sofia's POV

My fur twisted in the wind. My dark coat made it almost impossible for people to see me. Even Skylie and Drake had a hard time finding me in the dark. I stepped out into the light of the street lamp.

"Stop disappearing!" my mother growled. She was always worrying about me. My father chuckled. She reached down and ran her fingers through his fur. Sometimes I loved having two very different parents.

My mother was a wanted vampire, and my father was High Alpha of the werewolves. My exhistance was supposted to be impossible, but here I was, alive and kicking.

"I'd say I'm sorry," I murmured, " but I am not." That made her sigh as she looked down at my father for help. He shook his head.

"Hon, she has both of our blood in her."

"Guess your right." As they argued, I had to resist the urge to slink back into the dark. I herd a rock being kicked across the ground, and I spun, growling. A man stood there, staring at me. A female walked up beside him, followed by another male and female. Mark, Lucy,  Ethan, Sharron!" My mother quickly hugged them.

Drake bumped me with his body.

"Relax, they are friends. You shouldn't be so jumpy."

"I am going to kill Jaxon. I will not relax until that day comes." Ever since learning about that man, I spent my past years learning how to fight him. And now I was ready. Well, ready as ever. Two of the four people, as I could smell, were human; while the other two were vampire. Ugh, I did not have time to sit here with them!

"I'm going on ahead," I told Drake. He sighed. "Hey, I am old enough. If you need me, howl." I shrunk into the shadows and prowled around the town again. Rumurs were he was staying in town for the night. He and his men, being vampires, would be out hunting. As I entered the shadows of the inner part of the town, I herd a woman begging to be set free.

"Please," her voice echoed off of the walls in the alley, "just let me go! I swear I won't tell anyone!" I poked my nose around the corner, and paused. Jaxon stood there... as did five men. I tried to take a step back, and did the worst thing ever: I knocked over a trash can.

"Who's there?" a male voice demanded.

"Help me!" the woman screamed. I herd the sound of flesh hitting flesh. Not being able to take it anymore, I leapt forward, growling.

"Ah, a wolf. Tell me, are you allied with Alpha Drake?" Hmm, I could lie...

"No," I snarled.

"Care to allie with me?" he asked.

"Sir!" Another man burst. Jaxon sent him a look and he looked down.

"So, how about it?" I sat back on my hunches, and nodded. "Good. Jeff, kill it." I almost flinched as the bigest man slashed the human's throat. Desire rolled through me as I smelt the human's blood. With my mother being vampire, I still needed a diet of blood to survive. Animale blood only worked for so long...

And here was fresh human blood flowing right in front of me. Jaxon saw my intence gaze, and frowned.

"Tell me, what are you? I have never seen a wolf stare at blood like that," he said. I stood and slowly aproached. The men tensed, but I kept going, only to pause at the human's body. I let mine slip away until I sat on my human knees. Only my black panties and bra covered my body, for those were the only peice of clothing that would shift with me.

All the vamps around me gasped as I lefted the slightly alive human's arm to my mouth, bit down, and drank. I sucked harder, needing the energy. If I was going to pull this off, I was going to need to keep up as much energy as possible.

"You... what are you?" he marvled. I grinned as I stood, feeling the wet blood on my lips.

"Your greatest allie."
