Jungwon |

My eyes widened in alarm at Sunoo's words, his heart sinking.

Jay was missing?

"We have to find him," I blurted out, my voice trembling with fear. "We can't just sit here while he's out there, God knows where!"

Sunoo placed a calming hand on my shoulder. "Jungwon, I know you're worried, but it's too dangerous. The others are already out searching for him. We have to trust that they'll find him."

But I couldn't shake the gnawing fear in my chest. What if something terrible had happened to Jay? I couldn't just stand by and do nothing.

Before I could argue further, the room was filled with the sudden arrival of the others.

There were Sunghoon, Jake and Heeseung carried Jay in his arms, who was unconscious.

Sunghoon and Jake rushed to Jay's side, gently laying him down on his bed.

My heart pounded even harder at the sight of Jay's unconscious form, a lump forming in my throat as I watched on helplessly.

Sunoo and Ni-ki stood up as well, their expressions mirroring my own fear and worry.

My heart pounded in my chest as I saw him lying there, unconscious on the bed.

But what really scared me was the big cut on his stomach, bleeding.

Sunghoon and Jake were getting the first aid kit, while Heeseung was looking at Jay's wound.

I stayed where I was, feeling like I couldn't do anything to help. It was a horrible feeling, seeing someone I cared about hurt and not being able to do anything about it.

Suddenly, Jake's gentle touch on my arm broke through my trance-like state, pulling me away from the scene unfolding in front of me. Wordlessly, he guided me out of the room.

Once we were in the hallway, Jake turned to me, his expression soft yet determined. "Jungwon, I know this is hard, but everything will be okay."

I swallowed hard, unable to find the words to express the turmoil raging within me. Seeing Jay hurt, seeing him in pain—it was almost too much to bear.

"What if he won't make it?" I finally managed to whisper, my voice trembling with fear.

Jake placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder, his gaze unwavering.

"Sunoo will do everything he can to treat Jay's wound," he said, his voice steady with conviction. "And Jay... he's strong. He'll make it through this."

I nodded slowly, the weight of Jake's words sinking in. We had to stay strong, for Jay's sake. But deep down, the fear still gnawed at me.

As I settled onto the couch next to Ni-ki, I couldn't shake the feeling of helplessness that washed over me. We were the ones left behind, unable to do anything but wait and hope for Jay's recovery.

Ni-ki and I could only sit and wait, our hearts heavy with worry.

Together, we sat in tense silence, each passing moment stretching on endlessly as we clung to the hope that Jay would pull through. And as the hours dragged on, I prayed silently, willing Jay to hold on, to fight, to come back to us stronger than ever.

"I-I'm scared, Jungwon. What if Jay doesn't make it?" Ni-ki broke the silence.

I placed a comforting hand on Ni-ki's shoulder, saying, "I know. It's hard not knowing what's going to happen. But we have to stay strong, okay?"

Ni-ki nodded silently, his gaze fixed on the ground.

Hours passed in silence until Heeseung emerged from Jay's room. I stood up immediately, my heart pounding with anticipation.
