They are pretty cute in my opinion. I don't especially ship them but I respect the people who ship them. I saw some fanarts of them and they are honestly adorable and most of the shippers are really nice. I saw them more as best/close friends but I understand the ship. Knuckles and Sonic are rivals(or used to be) and now are in the same time. And not gonna lie they were kinda close in Sonic frontiers
