It's Yours

Tsukishima was on his way to his boyfriend's house. Yamaguchi Tadashi his boyfriend of two years already. Tsukishima texted Yamaguchi, but he didn't reply. Whatever, Tsukishima was sure he just had to forget to charge his phone.

Tsukishima arrived at Yamaguchi's place. He knocked on the door and Yamaguchi's mom opened the door for him.
,,Tsukishima-kun, come in, come in Tadashi is in his room with another friend of yours." Huh? A friend of theirs? Yamaguchi must have been studying with someone from the team then. That's weird he usually studies with him. Whatever, Tsukihima decided not to look too much into it as he thanked Yamaguchi's mom and went upstairs to Yamaguchi's room.

As he reached his destination he didn't think much of it and opened the door.
,,Hey you weren't answering my texts Tadash-" He cut himself off as he looked at the scene in front of him. Yamaguchi flinched and quickly pulled away. He and Yachi were making out when he stormed in. Tsukishima was overcome with a sudden feeling of absolute numbness.
,,Tsuki." Tsukishima turned around and ran. He heard faint yells from his now I guess ex-boyfriend, screaming to wait.

At some point, tears started streaming down his face and sobs escaped his mouth. Still running he didn't dare to look back or slow down. He had to get as far away as possible. Suddenly his body crashed into something or rather someone. That someone collided with the ground. Tsukishima started apologizing rapidly.
He held out his hand to the person.

The person he crashed into looked up at him shock evident in his eyes. It was Kageyama the king of the court himself. Kageyama took his hand and got up, not letting go as he was standing.
,,King what are you doing?" Tsuki's question went unanswered as Kageyama tightened his grip on the other.
,,Tsukishima, are you okay? What happened?" Right, he almost forgot. Why did Kageyama ask? He can't tell the king, maybe if he is his usual mean self the raven will leave him alone.
,,Why do you care? Or did the royal highness forget I'm simply a lowly commoner?" Kageyama rolled his eyes, however he had yet to let go of Tsukishima's wrist. Unfortunately for Tsukishima Kageyama saw right through his facade. It wasn't hard really, Tsukishima's face was covered in tears that were currently still rolling from his eyes. His lips were quivering and the look on his face told Kageyama he didn't actually want him to just walk away.

,,You can drop the act I'm not blind I can tell you're putting on a mask. Look, I know we don't usually get along but I want to help you, so could you drop the being an ass to push me away thing and talk?" Tsukishima knew he was obvious, but he didn't expect Kageyama to be nice to him and want to help. There had to be a catch somewhere, right? Kageyama's eyes looked so sincere though. Well, maybe he could drop his walls for a few minutes. Tsukishima explained what happened to Kageyama, ending up crying on his shoulder somewhere along the way.

Kageyama felt bad for Tsukishima. Yes a few moments ago he hated the blond's guts, but he opened Kageyama's eyes to a new side of him.
,,Look, if you ever want to talk about anything, I'll be here." Kageyama told Tsukishima as he typed in his number into the taller boy's phone. Tsukishima nodded to him, swallowing a lump in his throat as he recovered his phone from Kageyama.
,,I was heading to the arcade, do you wanna come? It could take your mind off of things." Tsukishaima didn't even need to think about the offer before accepting. He had nothing to do other than indulge in self-pity anyway.

Tsukishima was actually quiet enjoying the king's company. They played a bunch of games and somehow they ended up at the claw machine. Tsukishima was trying to get the dinosaur plushie, but it was in a horrible place and he wasted too much money already, he grew frustrated, and with frustration came typical cold and snarky Kei Tsukishima. Kageyama told him to move over.

He watched Tsukishima try to get this plush for about fifteen minutes now and he could see the walls building up with frustration once again. He didn't want that he liked the other side of the blond. Kageyama tried to get the dinosaur plush and he got it on the second try. He took it from the machine and handed it to Tsukishima. Tsukishima's eyes widen in surprise.
,,It's yours." Two simple words. Somehow the two simple words awoke a strong emotion in Tsukishima as his eyes teared up and he threw himself on the shorter one. Kageyama hugged Tsukishima back and stroked his hair. Both the boys don't really understand what just happened, but it's oddly... peaceful.
