it's friday. the day i've been dreading.
okay maybe i'm being a bit dramatic, but i really don't want to go on that date. i sit up on my bed and check what time it is. after doing a bit of scrolling, i decide to get up and take a shower.

once i get out the shower, i see a miss call from celeste. i decide to call her back while i do my skincare and makeup. she finally picks up after the 3rd ring.

"hey girl" she smiles

"hey, what's up?" i say curious as to why she called.

"date night tonight" she exclaims. she's way happier about this than me

"yayy" i say sarcastically

"azylia what's wrong" she asks genuinely. she's always knows when something's wrong, it's like her superpower.

"i don't know, i just feel bad" i say

"feel bad for what" she says trying to get the whole truth out

"i don't think i want anything with jude, but he seems so genuine about this. i don't want to lead him on when there's someone out there that actually wants him." i confess while playing with my makeup brush.

"well azy, if you really don't to go cancel on him. he'll get over it, trust me"

"okay, thank you i don't know what i'd do without you" i say because i really wouldn't know what to do.

"you'd probably die" we both laugh at her joke.

we continued talking whilst i finished my makeup and then we finally hung up.
