Is anyone else super excited that same sex marriage is legal in all 50 States in the US?! I may not be homosexual but it always pissed me off that not everyone was allowed to love and marry who they wanted!

Also. Why does everyone feel the need to change themselves to what everyone else wants? Like, the stereotype that girls are only pretty if they fit in everywhere and wear make up and are stick thin and anorexic. (I'm not making a joke about that. one of my friends is and it terrifies me) And everyone else is automatically a freak or unattractive.

Newsflash: I have my own definition of beautiful. Someone who is kind and smart and can speak their own mind and doesn't want to conform to the social norm and someone who is comfortable in their own skin without worrying what other people think.

I admit that I'm not that perfect girl. I have my moments when I think about what other people think of me. I think everyone does. But that's not the point.

And I hate that guys only look at us if we have a nice butt or big boobs. Only a handful of guys even think about how we think or talk or feel. At least that's the way it is in my experience.

And another thing. Why is it women are always second best to men? We get paid less, don't hold as high positions of power (have you ever heard of a female US president?), and we are always taken advantage of! Is it not enough that we usually are the ones to raise children? Heck, WE CARRY THEM INSIDE OF US FOR NINE. MONTHS. Then go through hours of pain to give birth. I know it's worth it in the end but still. Oh and the bloody hell people call a period.

And I'm not saying women are innocent of this either. Constantly trying to change men; telling them they are short or can't be nice and girly sometimes or telling them they don't have enough abs.

But.

It's not fair. And I never said life was fair but I wish people were better than that. Call me the Doctor because I wish everyone was nice or call me a feminist or whatever. I don't care. But I wish people could hold up to the words "Liberty and justice for all"...
