𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐂𝐊𝐋𝐘 𝐂𝐔𝐓𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐅𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐁𝐎𝐘-𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐃, Seraphina had already grown overly frustrated with Stefan's constant worry that she was going to fall for whatever perplexing history that Damon attempted to subtly tell her.

Despite the fact that she again and again told him that she didn't believe the words that left his older brother's mouth, already having noted the tension between siblings.

Something she'd never dealt with as she didn't have any siblings of her own, then there was the fact that she'd long ago lost her father, whom left when she wasn't even old enough to remember his face.

"This isn't about him, Stefan," Seraphina spoke feeling slightly exasperated but not wanting to cause to much of a scene in public, so she ultimately kept her voice low as she spoke."It's about me not knowing a thing about you and yet we almost-"

She paused taking a second to remember the heated moments she and Stefan partook in, the pair almost going all the way into a sexual experience, despite only knowing each other for nearly a month.

Seraphina not used to having a boyfriend, let alone someone she was so attracted to which quickly caused her to want and make up for the mundane life she'd lived, however the thought of giving up her virginity to someone she barely knew quickly caused her a great deal of stress and nervousness.

Emotions Stefan could clearly see written on her face, however he'd long since negated those emotions as he lived out his immortal life, on one hand being able to get rid of or compel his stresses away and on the other able to flip off his emotions in the blink of an eye.

"Look, I get it you've got this mysterious guy thing going on, and trust me it's working," Seraphine started with a small sigh, motioning at Stefan's figure before she lightly hugged her torso with her arms not wanting to over speak with her hands. "but every little thing I know about you is either a mystery or a cluster of misinformation, which leads to another odd secret, which somehow leads to whoever Katherine, whoever she is-"

As she attempted to conclude, Seraphina's vocal tone seemed to trail off into disappointment more so at herself than Stefan as she'd a few days ago found herself willing to give such a precious piece of herself over to him.

That being said, before she could even get to the rest of her confession, Stefan's voice ultimately drowned her out as he was quickly met with her frustrations, not having expected or noticed them prier to now.

"Please Seraphina," The immortal teen softly begged reaching forwards in order to grab a hold of the shorter girl's right hand with his right, attempted to regain her understanding without telling to much of his truth. "I just-I just don't want to talk about it, please."

He continued to beg as he searched into Seraphina's eyes, knowing there was at least an ounce of trust still built up within her for him, and that was what he needed if he wanted to hold off on telling her his secret.

A secret he knew could send her running off from him screaming, which would not only break another piece of his long dead heart, but also most likely expose him to the council that was still formed in Mystic Falls.

Although the latter wasn't his biggest concern, not to sound like a psycho, Stefan felt that his life was somehow brighter and a lot more calm when he was around Seraphina and her positivity.

"Well, then tell me something, anything," Seraphina begged in return as she tightened her hold on Stefan's hand, willingly taking a step closer to him as she hoped he'd give her some kind of information that he wouldn't later change and confuse her even more. "something that'll let me know you, so I don't have other people shoving their assumptions on me."

"Those are Damon's assumptions," Stefan immediately countered as he lightly ran his thumb over the back of Seraphina's hand, stepping closer in the same way Seraphina did only causing him to more so note the sigh that left her lips again. "don't you see what he's done here?"

As he asked rhetorically, Seraphina could only glance away disappointed that Stefan would once again point the blame over to his older brother rather than solving the problem that she clearly laid out in front of him.

All she wanted was a piece of information, the smallest sliver of a story that told her something about Stefan, or his past, his family, anything about him especially since he knew so much about her.

From her mom, to her dad, to childhood stories, pictures, and anything else she could think to tell him as they often sat around together, all of which led her to an even quicker realization that she didn't know anything about him.

Other than the few words he'd told her and the rest of her friends when they were at the grill, if asked she couldn't even tell anyone his middle name, let alone anything regarding his home life.

But it seemed that Stefan couldn't see where she was coming from.

"He's trying to get you to turn against me." He continued as he lessened his distance from Seraphina even more, lightly grasping at her chin with his thumb and index finger as he tried to negate her worries and stress.

Especially as she had been looking even sadder than when they'd started this discussion and unable to meet his eyes, although instead of being able to drown out the nervous stress that Seraphina was feeling.

The vampire was only met with her trying to pull her head away even going so far as to taking a step back, causing Stefan's eyebrows to furrow as he hadn't expected her to pull away so suddenly.

"Don't touch me Stefan." Sera softly muttered as she took another step back, no longer wanting to be so close to the boy she'd earlier didn't want to get away from.

The thought of everyone's words, especially Bonnie who attempted to tell her not to jump head first into the relationship with him, quickly reinvigorating themselves into her mind and she couldn't help but agree much to Stefan's distress.

"Sera-" He tried to bring the teen back to him, unwilling to let her walk off given how upset she currently was at him, however it seemed that today wouldn't be going as he wanted to.

As Seraphine only pulled her hand away from him with a new amount of vigor, somehow finding herself reluctant to stay in the young salvatore's presence given he couldn't even listen to her worries.

"Don't, please." She spoke in a lightened voice as she pulled away, cradling her hands close to her chest in order to keep from living Stefan a life line to once again grab a hold of her and continuing to spout things she didn't want to hear.

However as Seraphina quickly scurried away not wanting to stay around especially as they were still in the ballroom close to any prying ears and eyes, a pair of which Stefan quickly laid eyes on.

The eyes and ears belonging to his older brother, Damon who currently held a large smirk on his face as he made eye contact with his little brother, obviously handing listened to and heard everything the once happy couple had been fighting over.

The dark haired man only strengthening the hatred that had been brewing within Stefan as he realized that Damon's want to ruin his life and eternity was something he could put up with previously.

That being said now he actually found someone that made him feel less like the homicidal ripper he really was.
