If someone would ask her, Ryujin didn't spend the whole day at work thinking about the waitress and what was she doing wrong to not get, at least, her name, and she definitely didn't feel the need, multiple times, to go downstairs and get some coffee while admiring said waitress from afar. Because Ryujin wasn't some sort of stalker, and she definitely couldn't be that impressed by a woman, it was always the other way around. Women got impressed by her dashing good looks.

Who was she kidding? She couldn't stop thinking about those mesmerizing cat eyes and that beautiful smile. This whole situation was new to her and she had to admit, at least to herself, that it was driving her crazy.

When it was time to go home, she sighed with relief. She couldn't wait to get home and get some rest. She reached the ground floor of the building and couldn't help but to glance at the area where the café was. When she saw her there, tidying up the terrace with the help of a co-worker, she couldn't help but smile. It looked like they were getting ready to leave their workplace soon, so Ryujin chose to stay and wait by her car, which wasn't far from the café.

She pretended to look at her social media on her cellphone, but she couldn't stop looking up from time to time in case she would miss the waitress. After a while, she spotted the cat-eyed woman leaving, carrying a backpack and pushing a bike by the handlebars. Ryujin put her phone in her front pocket and walked towards her.

"Where are you going in such a hurry?" The short-haired woman walked backwards, in front of the waitress, and slowed her down by putting her hand on the handlebars of the bike. "Stop for a second."

"What are you doing?"

"I was waiting for you."

"And?"

"We could have a chat."

"Why?" She frowned at the short-haired woman.

"Because I was waiting for you." She repeated, smiling charmingly. The waitress just pulled the bicycle hastily, so Ryujin would let go, and walked around her to continue her way. "C'mon, don't be like that." She didn't give up.

"Like what?" She asked without stopping her walk.

"Grumpy." The brown-haired one stopped dead in her tracks because of Ryujin's answer and took a deep breath.

"You're not gonna leave me alone until you say whatever you have to say, so spill." The waitress said as calmly as she could.

"Let's have coffee together. On me." She made the waitress smile, but it didn't take long for Ryujin to realize it was a sarcastic smile.

"I serve thousands of coffees a day, do you really think I'm going to have coffee with you in a place similar to where I work?" Ryujin stopped, realizing her mistake as she observed her approach a traffic light.

"How about dinner?" The short-haired woman asked from the distance. The waitress looked at her and, Ryujin would have sworn that she saw a faint smile on her face, but before she could double check, the brown-haired woman turned around and continued on her way, now that the traffic light had turned green. Ryujin saw her cross the street until she disappeared from her line of vision and went back to her car.

"Do you have a meeting or an interview?" Chaeryeong asked while sitting after putting their coffee cups down on the table.

"None, why?"

"You're all dressed up."

"This?" She questioned looking down at herself while placing her hand on her chest. She was wearing a black suit that had embroidered shiny little stones forming a pattern on the jacket, near one of the lapels. "It's nothing. I bought it on sale." It was the truth, what she didn't say was that even if it was on sale, it had cost her a fortune. She also omitted that she woke up that morning in a good mood and had decided to put some effort into looking good. To complete her look, she had decided to put on some light makeup that made her attractive plump lips stand out. "How are things between you and Somi?" She decided to change the topic.
