Episode 50: The truth comes out

It was the morning after the students all got in their dorms as Ben had finished getting into his uniform before leaving his room.

Mina: Beeeeeeeeeeeeen!!!!!!

Suddenly Ben turned to see a pink blur rush over and tackle him to the ground as he grunts with a slight pain as he sees a pair of horns poking out of fluffy pink-hair as the face of his friend smiled at him.

Mina: Hi.

Ben: Mina, what the hell are you doing? Why are you on my floor?

Mina: Well duh! I wanted to school with you and the others, and I was waiting for you lazy-bones!

Ben grabbed her cheek and pulled as she groans with discomfort.

Ben: You tackled me like a linebacker, and you're calling me "lazy-bones?" Pot calling the kettle black.

Mina: Just get back up and let's go!

Mina quickly stood up and grabbed Ben by his arm as she dragged him to the elevator as the two made it down to the common room area where the other students were already set to go.

Iida: Tennyson, what is the meaning of this? It's almost time for class, a class representative should be ahead of the curve and make a good example for the rest of the students!

Ben: Iida. We still have 10 minutes left until class, and with a 5 minute walk we have plenty of time. Besides, no one told you to wait for me.

Iida was about retort but quickly shut his mouth as he realized that Ben was correct. He bowed before turning around to address the rest of the class.

Iida: Alright everyone, let's go!

The students start to walk as Ben follows in the back of the group, looking up into the sky as he contemplates on how things will change now. Nezu told him that the UA staff and students will be informed of the Omnitrix, which made Ben somewhat concerned about how everyone will take the news. Mina noticed him slowly following as she lingers back as she walks next to him.

Mina: Hey, you okay?

Ben: Yeah. I'm fine.

Mina: You sure? Cause you look really down.

Ben put on a smile as he stared at Mina.

Ben: I'm sure, just thinking about some stuff. C'mon, let's get to class.

Ben speeds up as he catches up to the group as Mina looks at him with worry and confusion.

The students made it to class as everyone was sitting in their seats, waiting for the bell to ring as Aizawa steps into the classroom.

Aizawa: Alright, we have a busy day so let's not waste it.

Aizawa heads towards the podium as he puts on his normal stare, beginning the homeroom class.

Aizawa: As some of you know, you all will be working on getting your Provisional licenses... But before that, we have to address the elephant in the room. Tennyson...

Ben's eyes widen as he knew what was coming. The only thing he hoped that the rest of the class would be more open-minded.

Aizawa: Myself and the rest of the facility staff has been made aware of your situation. And with the Principal's permission, we've been allowed to discuss the issues that follow. As for the rest of you, I suppose we'll have to get you caught up. The device on Tennyson's wrist is not a support item, it's an device of alien origin.
