harry's pov:

i hopped the fence into her backyard and ran up the stairs that led to the porch just outside her room. i remember which pot the key was under and picked it up. i unlocked the door quickly and ran in setting the key on her dresser. next to where i had set her key, was her phone. it was open to our texts.

"rose?" i softly spoke. i heard shifting around in the bathroom and walked closer to the door. as i did, i heard her quiet sobs and my heart shattered.

"i'm so sorry rose. i really am." i spoke. god, i was such an idiot. i didn't even know what to say. "if you want to just come out here and talk ab-"

"i cant." she interrupted.

"rose i know that-"

"i cant harry." she sounded miserable.

"alright, i understand. but i'm going to wait right outside this door until your ready, ok?" i didn't exactly expect a response, and i didn't get one.

i sat down and pressed my back against the wall. i was so tired. i was determined to stay awake and wait for rose, but i couldn't keep my lids open. i fell asleep in rose's hallway.
