☀ A choice that have to be made

I haven't heard from Catnap ever since I send him home. I keep calling him but he never pick up. Maybe he need a little time alone. I decided to chat with my friends.

☀"Hey guys. You heard about Catnap right?"

⚡"Yeah. I knew he was trouble the moment I first saw him!"

❤"I never known he would do something like this. Did something happen to him? They say he did it in self defense."

☀"Yeah. Because he has a traumatic experience back then."

💡"Did he tell you?"

☀"Well the doctor told me he was at gunpoint back then so that probably it."

🌈"Poor kitty. We should help him."

⭐"Not for me. You guys are on your own. I don't know how to deal with this kind of thing."

🍎"Count me in. Tell me what's his favorite food and I'll cook him a nice meal."

☀"Thanks Picky but I think he need some time alone for now. Maybe a few days we'll help him. How about it?"

💡"Alright then but he have to tell us. Holding back a traumatic experience can lead to depression and stress. Sometimes suicide."

☀"Come to think of it, I should check on him."

I pick up my phone and try calling him again. A moment came by and finally I hear his voice.

🌙"Hello?

☀"Catnap! I'm so glad to hear you! Is everything ok?"

🌙"Yeah. I hope to see you again."

☀"I will because you're my boyfriend and lovers stick together. That what Bobby told me."

🌙"Ha. It's good to hear your voice again. You made my night."

☀"Thanks moon. See you tomorrow."

🌙"Goodnight my sun."

I hung up. Pretty sure my friends overheard me.

⭐"Dude are you and Catnap a thing?

☀"To be honest yes. I have a thing for bad boys."

⭐"What!? I'm a bad boy! I sometimes skip school!"

⚡"I don't think that kind of bad Kickin."

☀"Sorry if I didn't tell you. Some of you are still against him and I'm worried how you'll react."

⚡"Considering he almost got you killed, maybe that's another reason why."

☀"C'mon guys. Give him one chance! I know he can be good. I promise!"

💡"Alright then but if something like that happens again, you have to break up with him."

☀"Good point. See you all tomorrow."

Everyone say goodbye as I shut down the computer. I went off to bed hoping to see Catnap tomorrow. I have been wondering why he was at gunpoint? Was it attempted murder or he was trying to save someone? But I do see some scars on his arms so maybe he was gonna be killed but luckily survived. In 3 days, if he gotten worse, we'll form a meeting to help him out. I need to know what gotten into him.....

~~3 days later...~~

I try to find where Catnap lives. I check all places but the bad side of town. I drive into the bad side seeing hookers and gangsters. I carefully try not to disturb their territory. I stop at the red light until a femboy hooker came to my window.

"Hey baby. Wanna suck my cock?"

I feel grossed out and drove away while the red light is still on. But then I see Catnap coming out from the pharmacy. I hid underneath so he won't notice me. When he left, I follow him to see he went inside an abandoned house. Why he went in there? I decided to went inside until I smell blood!? I rush around the house until I see Catnap laying down unconscious.

"Catnap! What happened!? Please answer me!!"

I check Catnap's pulse. He's still breathing. I check his eyes to see its all bloodshot and his nose is bleeding. I feel cuts on his arms and realize he's been cutting himself! I called 911 and I drag him out of the house waiting for the ambulance.

Once again, Catnap is in the hospital. The doctors told me he has a high level of chemicals in his blood all related to the new drug Red Smoke. How could he lied to me!? He promise me! I rush him to see him hook up by machines.

I remove the blanket to see his body underweight. The same body as those Red Smoke users. All bones and no muscles. This have to end. I text all my friends that we should have a meeting until Catnap is let go from the hospital. I told about what happened and that they all agree to come. I look over to see if he's awake. Not yet but I am gonna stay by his side until he wakes up....

It feel like months but its been only 8 hours. I was about to leave for food until I hear noises. I look to see Catnap waking up. He was coughing as I settle him down.

☀"Catnap."

🌙"D-Dogday? W-what happened?"

☀"I found you unconscious so I took you in. And you lied to me."

🌙"Why my sunshine?"

☀"Don't 'sunshine' me. You lied that you will never do drugs. Not only that, you were cutting yourself! I thought you died!"

🌙"I know and I'm sorry. I promise to make it up to you."

☀"How then?"

🌙"I'll stop taking drugs! Yesterday I stop cutting myself because of my mom! I want you to be a part of my life! I love you Dogday! Please help me!"

Catnap started crying. I loved him but hearing him cry makes me pity for him. I hold his hands and kiss him.

☀"Don't worry my love. Me and the others will help you. We will make your life better."

We hugged until Bubba and Hoppy came in. I told them that the meeting will start after Catnap got out of the hospital which is the next day. After he is let go, I brought him to my college and into the rehab room. All my friends are there ready for the meeting.

☀"All right, let's do this..."
