Hadrien POV
We entered the castle and looked around. It was as beautiful as Sirius and Remus had said and I knew it was a good idea to come here, even if it was only to see the legendary castle. Even in Japan, we had heard about it and the people who founded the castle and the school.
Salazar Slytherin had, after all, lived in Japan for a few years before he went back to Britain, where he had been born. Salazar had even visited the tribe back then and had learned a lot from the tribe. Salazar had learned a lot of potions and had taught some of those potions in his classes. When we looked at the potions taught in the school today, we found out that some of those potions are still taught these days.
The four of us entered the castle with Luna at our side and when we were in front of the Great Hall we placed down our trunks. I put a protective ward around our trunks with some holy magic to protect it well. It was a ward that wouldn't hurt anyone since some curious kids were probably going to try and move them or open them, and we didn't want them to get hurt.
I looked around and realized that we were the last ones to enter the Great Hall, except for the first years that still had to be sorted. We quickly entered the hall, since the first years would probably be there soon.
As soon as we entered the Great Hall, all attention was on us. I saw the surprised looks on the faces of almost anyone. Luna had been right, they still didn't believe in our existence, even after their ministry was forced to admit our tribe's existence.
We decided to ignore the attention and we followed Luna to the table from Ravenclaw. Luna sat down with Sara and Bianca sitting beside her, me, and Helene sitting in front of them on the other side of the table.
As I sat down I noticed the looks my younger brother was sending me. Henry Potter looked angry that we weren't sitting with him. He had promised to his friends and housemates that we would be sitting with them, and now that we weren't was he glaring at us. I also noticed that the other people in his house were disappointed as well.
Dumbledore also looked angry that we weren't sitting with the Gryffindors. The Slytherins were sending us calculated looks, although most of them also were glaring because of their pureblood nonsense. The other 2 houses, including the one we were sitting with, didn't care much, although the Ravenclaws were asking us many questions about our tribe and our lives in Japan.
After everyone had finished his/her dinner Dumbledore stood up. He stood in front of the teacher's table and began to address the students. "Can I have your attention, please? I want to make the typical start of term notices. Everyone should remember that the Forbidden Forest is still forbidden, as its name suggests. The caretaker, Mr. Filch wants me to remind everyone that magic is forbidden to be used in the corridors between classes. I also want to say that the Quidditch cup will not happen this year because a special event will take place at Hogwarts this year."
A lot of students started booing after that, and I laughed a little. Then it started to rain, really hard. The rain, however, stopped suddenly, as a red flash appeared from beside the teacher's table. The man walks to Dumbledore, and the headmaster introduces the man as the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Alastor Moody.
"As I was saying, we are to have the honor of hosting a very exciting event over the coming months, an event that has not been held for over a century. It is my very great pleasure to inform you that the Triwizard Tournament will be taking place at Hogwarts this year."
Students everywhere in the hall began to scream. I looked at my wives and Luna and gave them an 'Are they serious look?' They giggled as we all stared at the idiots who are still screaming, at least until Dumbledore gets them finally silent.
"The other two schools will arrive at the end of October. Then, the champions will be selected on Halloween. The Tournament calls for a single champion from each of the three wizarding schools in Europe to compete in a series of three trials for the prize of one thousand galleons. Though it wasn't in play in the past years due to the vast number of student deaths, is it my pleasure to reveal that both Mr. Crouch from the Department of International Co-operation and Mr. Bagman from the Department of Games and Sports at the British Ministry of Magic have decided to reinstate the tournament under the condition that new safety rules are used, including that no student under the age of seventeen will submit their name for consideration."
People started yelling again and I sighed. Is that the only thing these students can do? When everyone was calm again Dumbledore continued. "Besides that, the ministry has decided to allow 4 people to stay at the castle for the complete year. They are, like many of you probably know from Japan and members of the tribe known as "The Wolves of Hecate". These 4 will not only stay at the castle, but one of them may also give up their name as the champion of Japan. They are also allowed to follow classes as they wish. This was all for my announcements, have a good evening everyone."
I noticed many people eyeing us and I sighed. These people were so stupid. I didn't look forward to those idiotic Gryffindors and racist Slytherins. They were going to be so annoying. However, I suppose that we could just blast them away with magic.
After a few minutes of everyone looking at us, the students left the Great Hall and returned to their common room. Bianca, Sara, Helene, and I stood up with the Ravenclaws and left the hall with them. Outside the hall we go towards our trunks, hoping that we would be given directions to our quarters there.
We turned to Luna and smiled at her. "We will see you tomorrow, Luna," I told her. She smiled at us and nodded with a dreamy look in her eyes. "Yes, until then. I hope the nargles do not disturb your night." After that, she hopped off toward her common room.
After waiting for a few minutes we were approached by the woman who was the deputy headmistress, Professor McGonagall. She gave us a small smile, which we returned. "Well, the four of you probably already know this, but I am the deputy headmistress of the school, Professor McGonagall. I also teach Transfiguration at the school; all four of you can join my lessons of course. Now, please follow me and then I shall show you to your room for the year."
We followed her through the corridors of the castle and stopped in front of a painting of the ground floor of the castle. She turned to us and gave us a small smile. "We have decided that giving you a dorm on the ground floor would be best. From here, it would be easy to explore all the places in the castle. Now, the password to the room is something that the four of you can decide for yourselves, and no one of the staff has to know it, not even the headmaster. Choose the password carefully. Once you have chosen a password say 'set password' and then you can enter. I will take my leave now."
The stern woman turned around and walked away, allowing us to think about a password for the dorm. I turned to my wives and smiled softly when I saw their sleepy looks. "Why don't we take a simple password? We don't have anything valuable with us anyway, and our stuff has protective magic on it anyway." They nodded at me in agreement.
I turned to the painting of a howling wolf and saw it looking at me. "Set password 'Artemis'." The wolf nodded and the door of the room opened. The four of us walked inside and looked around the room. The first room we entered was like a living room and had some nice couches around the fireplace. Against the walls of the room were several bookshelves with books on them as well. There was also a small kitchen in the corner.
At the back of the room was there a door, which led to the bedroom. The bedroom was huge too, with a lot of room to shelve our stuff. Against the wall was a king-sized bed with black sheets on them. At the back of the room was another door, which led to the bathroom.
I smiled. It was a good room with enough space. I turned to my wives and saw that they were still looking extremely sleepy and laughed a little. They glared at me and I pointed to the bed with my tail. "What do you say if we switch into our pajamas and cuddle a little before sleeping?"
Half an hour later, I was laying in bed with my wives sleeping, while I continued petting them a little. A few minutes after that, I fell asleep myself.
