Chapter 7 an unknown murderer

a few days later While making preparations for the usj Nezu had discovered a pattern in seemingly unrelated deaths of 5 lesser known heroes who were outshined by others in there respective fields of hero work. There was an underground hero that died 4 days ago. All that is known is that they insulted a girl who made the sound of balloons popping instead of speaking in any language. However the underground hero died on camera while trying to investigate the disappearance of an entire apartment building.

The camera could see heat signatures but still couldn't find the killer. not even with normal recordings of the footage. However it was shown that the underground hero was cut in half by katana while they were begging for mercy. Then a day later a support hero and a rescue hero encountered a girl with the same speaking issue and told her that she didn't belong on earth because how her quirk makes her look. It's a real shame such people became heroes in the first place. However they both died within an hour inside a mall.

This time however they were beaten to death and almost all there bones were broken beyond repair. However despite that the killer left behind no dna or fingerprints even though they had nothing covering there hands based on the bruises and hand shaped marks on the dead bodies of those heroes. And yet again no camera could find the killer and nobody was around when the fight took place. Based on similarities it was almost certainly the same killer.

However 1 day after that double murder was a triple murder. This time it a police officer with an explosion quirk that was a distant relative of bakugo. In addition to a couple of heroes that work for the hero association. They teamed up to try to find the killer of the 2 previous cases. Though they were each stealthily taken down before they could figure out what happened. However it is believed that the girl connected to the previous cases may have worked with the killer in the case. Though Nezu knew better.

It was the same killer in all 3 of those cases. However this third case showed that the girl at minimum knows and is willing to work with the killer. But there are still more hidden details. The underground hero in the first case had a less powerful version of the quirk aizawa has. The support hero in the second case had an intelligence quirk less powerful but similar to nezu's own quirk while the rescue hero had a quirk highly similar to vlad king. And in the third case both of the heroes had quirks that were far weaker but similar to all might and endeavor respectively. Though the one that was similar to one for all couldn't be passed on to another user.

This implied that the killer might be very subtly taunting certain heroes or threatening certain people. However all that Nezu knew for certain about the quirks of the killer was they are invisible to thermal vision and cameras. And They entirely lack fingerprints. though it is arguable they may have some form of teleportation quirk and potentially an intelligence quirk that could potentially rival nezu's own quirk. It was basically the perfect murderer. someone who was untraceable and practically invisible with skill in the art of stealth who was also a competent fighter and smart enough to know people would be after them ahead of time.

If they could teleport then they could easily become the most deadly murderer in history. However it's hard to say if assembling a group to take them down would be playing into there hand or not. However as the principle of ua it would be hypocritical to do nothing about it. As such it was unsurprising that Nezu gave this information to aizawa and detective tsukauchi. Both of them would need to work with Nezu if this case was going to be solved before the next generation.

(Pov Izuku). Those heroes should really have thought more about what they were doing. That underground hero was an idiot for not even considering what could have made inko's entire appointment building disappear into atoms. I Had to do something to make sure humanity didn't learn of the existence of aliens too soon. And realistically I wouldn't let anybody get away with insulting mina regardless of the situation. I really enjoyed the way he screamed. It was almost entertaining.

Though the day after that I went to the mall with mina so she could get more outfits for herself. I really didn't expect that we'd run into any heroes. However I expected even less that the heroes in question were going to be racist to mina just because they happened to feel that way about people who have appearance changing mutation quirks. It really disappointed me that racist heroes could even exist. I really did the world a favor by removing them from the living population. Though my other reason to kill them only made it easier.

But the next day I was already expecting what happened. I would have thought more people could realise both of these cases where connect. Moreover was the fact that people still somehow thought it was a good idea to figure out what was responsible for all of that. I thought I made the message obvious enough for all detective agency's and hero agency's in Japan. I guess next time I should expect the military if they still don't get the message. I'm almost certain Nezu will be involved if it happens again. Which is why I plan to change things up to throw him off. (End of pov)
