Friday-Midday
Friday was outsite the English classroom door, knowing that Ian was in there. She took a deep breath and headed into the classroom. She looked around the classroom. Mirabella looking at her nails. That pretty girl Ian kissed, was looking at Miss Priddock inquisitively like she was actually paying attention. Melanie asleep on her table. And then, Ian sitting there not paying attention and staring out the window. Friday's breath quickened. This happened quite often when they first met.
"Oh hello Friday!" Miss Priddock turned her attention to her and grinned. Everyone looked. "Just in time for class, where have you been?"
"Oh- I haven't been feeling well lately, so I've just been... you know, reading." She said in her most convincing tone. Melanie was awake now, and knew that wasn't the real reason. Friday could tell that Melanie could tell that Friday was lying.
Friday quietly moved across the room to her seat next to Melanie. Melanie gave her a look like. Girl, what you've been up to? Friday broke the silence first. "Melanie, I miss you," Friday said trying to hold back tears. "Friday! What is going on with you, first you don't show up to breakfast, then u come late to class looking like you just cried! AND your showing to much emotion for you, this isn't normal" Melanie questioned a bit to loud with a concerned look on her face.
"Please Melanie, lets talk about this after class," she said looking around at all those people staring at her. Including Ian. She felt very uncomfortable and just wanted to run away again. She felt tears prickle her eyelids saying let us free!
The rest of the lesson she was just thinking about who the girl Ian was with was. Was she his ex or something? Maybe the kiss was just a accident or wasn't even ment to happen! Yep, all just a... accident. "Yes Sussie, thats why reading is important-" Friday heard muffled talking of Miss Priddock, but not really listening. Melanie elbowed Friday - hard. "What was that for?"Friday asked Melanie, obviously annoyed. "Well Friday, Miss Priddock is asking you how much books you read a week." Melanie said to her with a fake big smile and slightly tilted her head.
Friday turned her head around from looking to Melanie, to Priddock. She smiled a small fake smile and said, "Oh-just around like a couple a day, so around-" Friday was interrupted by a loud knock on the class door. Everyone turned around and faced the door. The door burst open and there was Alex panting, with sweat dropping down his head, and he was wearing his soccer boots and outfit.
"P-Pa-Parker-" Alex cried trying to catch his breath.
"Yes, Parker. . . " Miss Priddock said waving her hand around to indicating him to continue, "By the way, have I met you before, or are you new?"
"Oh, no I'm new," He said, clearly caught his breath now. "Anyways, Parker needs Friday." Alex said smiling at her. She smiled back.
"Oh wow Barnes," Ian said with one of his smug smiles. "More investig-" Friday Ignored him and got up and headed to the door before he could finish his sentance.
"Wait for me Fri!" Melanie called out from behind as she jumped out of her chair, ran out of the classroom and skipped over to Friday and Alex.
