"So, are you going to the party tomorrow?" Drew asked, leaning back and looking at her with a playful grin.

"Of course," Lacy replied, smiling. "Wouldn't miss it. Are you?"

"Definitely," Drew said. "Actually, I was thinking... do you need a ride? I could pick you up if you want."

Lacy's heart skipped a beat at the offer. "That would be great. Thanks, Drew."

"Awesome. I'll be at your place around eight then," Drew said, his eyes twinkling. "It's going to be fun. You better be ready to dance."

Lacy laughed, feeling a warm flutter in her chest. "I'll try to keep up with you."

As the conversation continued, Lacy couldn't help but feel a growing sense of excitement. Drew was charming and easy to talk to, and she found herself looking forward to spending more time with him.

The next day, as the evening approached, Lacy stood in front of her closet, contemplating what to wear. She wanted to look her best, especially with Drew picking her up.

Lacy stood in front of her closet, feeling both excited and nervous for the party. She scanned through her clothes, trying to pick the perfect outfit that would make her stand out. After what felt like forever, she settled on her favorite dress—a sleek black number that hugged her curves just right.

She pulled the dress off the hanger and slipped it on, feeling a surge of confidence as she checked herself out in the mirror.

Next came the hair. Lacy fired up her curling iron and began twisting strands of her hair around it, creating loose curls that cascaded down her shoulders. She had to admit, she was getting pretty good at this whole hair-styling thing.

With her hair done, it was time for makeup. Lacy sat down at her vanity and pulled out her makeup bag, carefully selecting the perfect shades for her eyes and lips. She applied mascara, eyeliner, and eyeshadow with precision, feeling like a makeup guru on YouTube.

Lacy slipped on a pair of delicate earrings and sprayed herself with her favorite perfume, relishing in the sweet scent that enveloped her.

"Perfect," she murmured to herself, feeling a surge of confidence.

Just as she was adding a final coat of lipstick, her phone buzzed with a message from Drew: "Outside. Ready when you are."

Lacy's heart raced as she grabbed her clutch and headed to the door. She took a deep breath, smoothing down her dress one last time before stepping outside.

Drew was waiting by his car, looking effortlessly handsome in a casual yet stylish outfit. He smiled when he saw her, and Lacy felt a flutter of nerves and excitement.

"Wow, Lacy, you look amazing," Drew said, his eyes lighting up.

"Thanks," she replied, blushing slightly. "You clean up pretty well yourself."

"Shall we?" Drew said, opening the car door for her.

Lacy nodded, sliding into the passenger seat. As they drove to the party, the air between them was filled with an electric tension. They chatted easily, their laughter mingling with the music playing softly on the radio.

The party was in full swing by the time they arrived. Music thumped through the speakers, and the room was filled with laughter and the clinking of glasses.

Drew was right there with her the whole time, his arm casually draped around her waist as they chatted with people. Every now and then, his touch sent shivers down her spine, and she couldn't help but lean into him a little closer.

"Hey, wanna grab a drink?" Drew's voice was smooth as silk, sending a thrill through Lacy.

"Totally," she replied, a grin spreading across her face as they made their way to the bar.

As they waited for their drinks, Drew kept his arm around her, pulling her in close as they chatted. Lacy felt like she was walking on air, her heart fluttering with every word he said.

But then, as the night wore on, Lacy lost sight of Drew in the crowd. She was in the middle of a conversation when she realized he was nowhere to be found.

Curious, she wandered through the crowded rooms, finally spotting him in a dimly lit corner. Her heart sank as she saw him locked in a passionate kiss with another girl, his hands tangled in her hair.

Lacy's breath caught in her throat, and she felt a sharp sting of betrayal. She turned on her heel and walked away quickly, not wanting to be seen. Her emotions churned, a mix of anger, hurt, and humiliation. She grabbed a drink from a passing waiter and downed it in one go, the alcohol burning her throat.

She found a secluded spot and continued drinking, trying to numb the pain. Each drink seemed to blur the edges of her emotions, but the image of Drew with the other girl remained vivid in her mind.

As the night wore on, Lacy felt herself getting increasingly drunk. She knew she should stop, but she couldn't bring herself to face the reality of what she'd seen. Finally, she fumbled for her phone and dialed Brady's number.

"Brady," she slurred when he answered. "I... I saw Drew... with another girl."

"Lacy, where are you?" Brady asked, his voice filled with concern.

"At the party... I'm so stupid," she hiccuped, tears streaming down her face. "I thought... I thought he liked me."

"Lace, listen to me. You need to get somewhere safe. Can you get back to your apartment?"

"I think so," she whispered, swaying slightly.

"Okay, I'm staying on the line with you. Just get home safely, alright?"

Lacy stumbled her way out of the party, ignoring the concerned looks from her castmates. Somehow, she managed to find her way back to her apartment. She locked the door behind her and collapsed onto her bed, the phone still clutched in her hand.

"Brady, I'm so stupid," she sobbed. "I thought he liked me. Why did I think that?"

"You're not stupid, Lacy," Brady said gently. "You have a big heart, and sometimes people take advantage of that. Just get some rest, okay? We can talk more tomorrow."

"Okay," she whispered, her tears soaking her pillow. "Thanks, Brady. I'm sorry for calling so late."

"Don't be sorry. I'm always here for you."

Lacy nodded, though Brady couldn't see it. She ended the call and cried herself to sleep, the betrayal and heartbreak weighing heavily on her.
