Before the assignment starts, kindly note that the book club operates with an aim to provide you a way to get feedback on your work. We have added you to the three groups, based on the genre and preferences. We tend to repeat the pairs now and then so that the writers get feedback on more than 2-3 chapters as well. Kindly be patient and work on the critiques in the meantime. With each critique, a new perspective comes in – that's your chance to take the criticism and improve your draft. If you keep the chapters as same with each round without making improvements, the critiques will be repetitive, not much helpful.
Secondly, everyone here is a good writer in their own might. All can surely write a good paragraph of feedback, given everyone writes a whole book at one point! Using AI to write feedbacks is notallowed. Writing is something personal, and so is giving criticism – it's one's personal opinion. Having an artificial intelligence platform write a technical review is not something we are okay with. If someone uses AI (and the language is easily recognisable) they will be banned from the book club. We don't usually use the term ban, it's a deep word, but using AI when one is a writer is wrong.

•• Comment guide: 3+ inline comments, and one overall comment of 4+ lines. Total of four comments per chapter. Two chapters in one assignment. A quality overall comment includes both the strength and the weakness of any chapter. Be sure to balance your comments with helpful advice, feedback, and points for the writer to take note of. After all, book club operates with aim to help a writer rectify their shortcomings.
•• If any member wishes to go on a break, or is returning from a hiatus - kindly fill the form in 'Hiatus form' chapter of this book.
•• We have the provision of permanent pairing. If any pair wishes to be the pair for further assignments, or until their book is finished by the other - they can drop us a comment stating the same.
•• Members who complete the assignment after deadline won't be added to the next one round. They will continue from the following one. Leaving the confirmation comment is equally mandatory.
