"Huh... Hoo... Afoo..." Dayvawn grunts and huffs.

He feels cold pavement on his back and arms. It is pitch black. However, He hears soft music playing, and faint chatting. Dayvawn slowly opens his eyes to see that He is inside a bright building. The smell of... Well, multiple things fill his nose. He quickly gets up.

He is suddenly in a mall. People chat and walk past him, a stand selling cookies is near him. Stores fill the walls and the bright lights reflect off the white ground.
"What the... How did... Huh...?" Dayvawn is severely puzzled.
"Wait. I know this mall... This is...!" He recognizes where He is at. He begins to walk around. People wave at him, this catches him off guard and He awkwardly waves back.
Yes. This mall is definitely the one Dayvawn would frequent, yet... It feels off.

"This isn't right." He says to himself. He takes the escalator up to the food court. Yep. The same as the real one. However, He feels compelled to scan the area and get closer. He does just that and begins to walk near the tables, people sit and eat and chat. He awkwardly stares, trying to find out why his gut told him to go here, besides the fast food.

Suddenly...

"Hey, Dayvawn." A voice says sitting alone at a table.

"Hm...?" Dayvawn grunts.

Sarah sits alone at a table with two seats. She has multiple shopping bags, a tray of food and an ice cream cone.

"What are you doing here?"

Dayvawn stares in awe. But how? He saw her dead corpse. And why are they both at a shopping mall?
"Sa... Sarah...? But you... Where are we...? And how much crap did you buy...?"
Sarah smiles.
"I guess I was right."

Dayvawn doesn't get it.
"Right about what...?"
"Don't worry about it." Sarah says.
She pats on the table signaling Dayvawn to sit. He obliges.
"Just be glad you made it. However, I think it's not time yet."

"I don't get it." Dayvawn gets a little aggravated.
"Where are we? Why are we suddenly at a mall?! What about The Hybrid and Mothman?! Sarah, what about the others?!?!"
Fear fills Dayvawn's mind. Sarah softly shakes her head and licks her ice cream.
"Our friends are fine. You're fine. I did all I could. It sucks, but... I guess it was just my time. It's natural I suppose."

"Dayvawn..."

"Promise me."

"Promise me that, you, with all your strength... Protect my Ally... Protect my family."

Dayvawn still doesn't understand.
"Huh...?! Of course I'll protect Ally! He's my friend! You're talking weird Sarah!! Let's get out of here!!!"
Sarah shakes her head once more.
"You can. I can't." She says.

"It's not your time yet."

"Now go."

Sudden, Dayvawn begins to be swarmed by yellow flames. This catches him off guard.
"Huh...?! What the?!" He shouts. The fire feels odd. It is warm, yes, but also oddly comforting. It feels like jelly as well. Dayvawn begins to slowly fade away while Sarah stares with a smile.

"Go for it, Hero." She says with the brightest grin. As She does, Dayvawn disappears.
"I suppose my dream didn't come true. No... That's a bad way of looking at things. I guess... It just got delayed."
