Time flies so fast, in the blink of an eye, Astrid due date came, it should be a happy day, only it wasn't, for in the day of her due date, it also a day where the full moon appeared, she thought it was okay because she have the cure, for this year full moon, but.....one of the ingredients contained a poison that could be detrimental to the child in her womb.

But if she doesn't take the cure, then she will experience the cursed put to her by her aunt, and along with the pain of the delivery, but she has no choice, she needs to survive those, or else, she or the child in her womb would be put in danger.

"Why are we even talking about this?!! This shouldn't be a conversation!!" Constantine frustrated voiced echoed to the whole house.

"So what? Are we going to ignore the child?" Aylin's words lace with sarcasm banter with her, but Constantine ignores her or more like she didn't even put in her eye.

"Think with your brain, think rationally!be you! stop letting such senseless emotion rule you, don't let your heart decide, think like how you used to!" Constantine snap, more like her frustration, get the best of her.

"I don't know what are we even arguing about. Shouldn't we just look for a solution that can benefit both of them?" Khione butted in.

Astrid remained silent, her eyes closed, and her whole being still, like a fine sculpture, not moving at inch, in her palm was a trench of a tree that came beside the house, and few leaves dances around her, like comforting her.

"There is no solution. it's either she doesn't take the cure and be subjected to that damnable curse, and / or she will take the cure and only the only pain she will feel was the pain of childbirth, but with a possibility that her child would be put in harms way." Max elaborated as he gobble the ice cream in his hand.

"Astrid will take the cure." Constantine said firmly.

"And who decides that? You?" Aylin scoff.

The atmosphere in the room becomes more tense, and Aylin and Constantine can not seem to see eye to eye. They always argue and have different view on things. They are like fire and water.

"I'm the one who will decide. None of you have any say in this." Astrid spoke up, interrupting the glare being thrown by people on the other side of the room.

"I appreciate your care, but I've decided." Astrid then glances at Constantine softly, Constantine shook her head and then sighed.

"You stupid fool.."Constantine muttered helplessly.

"I will not take the cure." Astrid stated.

Though her opinion seemed to win, Aylin felt no victory. She never saw Astrid being subjected to curse, and she never wished to see her under it, but like they say, their is always a first time for everything.

"Fine! You will not take it! But... but if I saw that you needed it, I would shove it to your mouth, like it or not!" Constantine stated.

Astrid smiled softly. As her eyes wandered on the room, she felt grateful for their care for their support.

"I'll take care of the barrier." Khione said as she got up from the sofa and left.

This is the first time Aylin met Constantine. No more like this is all their first time, except for Max. They all heard the woman's name but never met her, the person whom Astrid deeply treasured. Even though Astrid denied it, Aylin could see how much she depended on the woman, how much she respected the woman's opinion, Astrid was not cold, but she was not warm either, you can even say she is a heartless person.

Aylin glanced at the two beside the window and stood up, it's better to be with Khione at this time, who knows what Khione was doing, what if she forgot to strengthen the barrier because she become distracted by other things.
