New Hairstyle

Ok

Don't remember when

It was a Wednesday in the 2nd quarter and after they found out

During this time

Girl 2, Muffin and me (along with someone else) sat in the same group in Spanish class

We have odyssey right before that Spanish class

In odyssey, Girl 2 was telling me I should style my hair

I only brush my hair and that's it

Back when my hair was longer it was just a messy ponytail everyday (unless my mom yelled at me and put it into a braid)

Ok listen

No one ever taught me how to style my hair in any way

I know how to braid hair I just don't know how to braid my own-

so it was always ponytail and now just loose 

OK

oh and the whole thing she said was, "You should style your hair to impress Muffin."

CRYING

WHAT

So she started using her hands to brush through my hair and then asked the group if anyone had a hair tie

Girl 4 had a scrunchie and gave it to her 

SO 

Girl 2 made like two big strands of hair on either side and like brought them back and tied the scrunchie around them, so they were together on the back of my head  

I'm bad at explaining

Then we walked to Spanish class and we sat down

also

I had no idea what I looked like

So we're doing our bell work (funny name when we don't even have a bell-)

and Muffin walks into the room and sits down

after a few minutes Girl 2 says,

"Omg, [my name] I love your hairstyle!"

she's bringing attention to it

and I just say thanks bc what else am I supposed to say

then she's like

"WhO diD iT? wAs iT yoUr moM?"

*inhales*

GIRL

RIGHT BEFORE ODYESSY 

I HAVE GEOGRAPHY

AND DO YOU KNOW WHO ELSE IS IN THERE WITH ME?

M U F F I N

HE ALREADY SAW ME

AND I DID NOT HAVE THIS HAIRDO

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

So I'm giving her this look that's a mix between

"What the heck do you want me to say here"

and

"Will you shut up please"

funny thing is that she at some point before this called me her daughter

so i mean

technically my "mom" did do my hair

(I don't want her to be my adopted mother, I already have one thank u! Also, there's a whole family thing going on in their friend group- she's like got 3 divorces but still likes her ex-wife who has a wife and ANOTHER ex-wife and her (Girl 2) father and/or grandpa hit her at one point- It's a whole thing that could be a whole book + she has like 4 other children- Don't want to be a part of that)

so that happened
