Mckenna's Pov
We were at an empty parking lot drinking some smoothies. Ben was laying against a lamp post playing a holo message from his grandpa. "So when are you gonna teach me those advance spells and magic?"
Gwen asked eagerly, "As soon as you get the basics down then we can move on to the advance spells..." Kevin lets out a chuckle, shaking his head. I faced him, scoffing. "What's with the laughing commentary?"
"Nothing it's just that I've never seen you do one single advance spell and you're gonna teach her..." I crossed my arms, what does he mean he's never seen me do an advance spell? The amount of practice I had to put myself through just to learn one single spell over and over again then move on to even harder spells. "Excuse me?! So me protecting your precious car with a force field isn't good enough? Conjuring up a ball of light from my hands is nothing compare to your abilities. Apparently anyone can do those things in seconds right?" Kevin holds up his hands, innocently and defensive. "No but I'm just saying that you may need to pratice a little bit more before teaching Gwen..." He goes back to drinking his smoothie. I rolled my tongue in my mouth, I looked over at Gwen raising an eyebrow and motioning towards Kevin. Gwen smiles and nods, I spoke a spell quietly so he wouldn't hear me. "Imitantor Pupulus."

Kevin turns around to say something once more but before he could say anything, I covered my mouth. Kevin immediately copied my action, he muffles some words. I removed my hand from my mouth as he did the same thing. "How did you do that? Why did I do that?"
"It's a basic mimic spell.. I learned it in second grade." I took a step forward as he did the same. "Stop it!" I brought my finger to my lip and spoke another spell, " Silencio..." He tries to speak but no words came out from his mouth. I smirked, lifting up my hand. Kevin looks at me shaking his head and trying to break the spell by mumbling some words but it wasn't clear enough to understand. "This is really gonna hurt..." I slapped myself hard and good. We both fall on the ground in pain. Gwen lets out a small chuckle, seeing Kevin in pain. I smiled, rubbing my cheek. Snapping my fingers, the spell breaks and Kevin screams in pain. "Jezz Claire did you have to go that hard??"
