You both stopped right outside the dorm building, feeling the energy of the portal you both used before, but this time, thankfuckally, you guys were still on campus and not in some Star Trek looking room. But it was a pull, and you could see the red in Wanda's eyes, her look matching yours, so you assumed the grayish black color in yours was present too.

"We're holding him off, aren't we?" You asked and she nodded slowly before you sighed, "Never thought I'd be edging a fortune teller, but here we are."

"I think it's Wong because of whatever he was going to tell him – Strange mentioned he's also a sorcerer s-"

"Two crunchwrap supremes are coming for us? And we're still here? Dang, we must be some badass tacos – hard shell or soft? I'm more of a softshell girl, but Doritos Locos? I go hard for hard; you know what I mean?"

"Taco Bell? We're heading towards some type of unknown danger that involves a multiverse – which is insane, if you ask me, but you're still thinking about food?"

"I mean, I haven't eaten since two."

"It's two-fifteen!"

"Yes," You agreed sternly, both of you trying to casually get to the dean's building in a hurry without drawing too much attention, "And I'm feeling peckish."

"Well, I don't have anything for you to eat and-"

"Don't lie!" You shouted, offended, and she turned away to stifle a laugh or blush or just heart eyes – because it's you, so.

"You're impossibly cheeky." She grumbled.

"And you realize, if we fix this, we'll be here...for good?" You couldn't help but to point out and her steps faltered, "No powers, no Strangeness, no Wongadongadingdong, and no Coulson, as we know and slightly hate – they'll be out there...in danger and we'll be here, trying to pass math and med school?"

"But the people here..." She trailed off after considering it and the two of you fell into a slow walk, your powers working to keep the magicians at bay for now, but you couldn't use them for much else since they didn't technically exist here.

"They'd miss us, and we'd miss them," You nodded with a sad frown, not wanting to leave your friends behind, but the idea of not knowing Brenda was more than kind of appealing, "But if we didn't belong here in the first place, maybe...I don't know."

"Fuck, this is so hard."

"That's what she said." You mumbled, cringing when you realized it was the wrong time, but then smiling when you heard her laugh lightly.

"I can't believe I was worried about talking to you because I thought you might be a dick." She laughed at the idea, and you dropped your jaw.

"I was thinking the same thing about you!"

"Oh my god, did we really waste two whole years?" She asked rhetorically and you chuckled, taking her hand as you guys made your way to stand outside the front of the building.

"I don't think they were wasted," You scrunched your eyebrows, trying not to get upset as you remembered all your memories with Darcy, Thor, Jane, and many others here, and knowing you'd have to give that up if you went through with this, "What I mean is..."

"No, I get it." She smiled sadly, thinking of her brother, Clint and Yelena, all her other friends too.

"It sucks," You let out a choked up laugh, "To give all this up? I don't think I want to."

"Me neither." She frowned deeply and you guys stopped to sit on a random bench, facing away from the building now, but you felt anxious as you peered down at your hands, a dark dust flowing from them.
