In the year 2088, humans were forced to leave Earth. An alien species they call "Mimics" swarmed what was once home to mankind. It's still unknown where they came from.

The first sighting of them was when they attacked a small town in Texas. At first, everyone thought it was a hoax. A footage was uploaded on the web but no one believed that a twelve-legged monster, which is about ten feet tall with rows of thousands of sharp teeth was brutally ripping people apart, limb by limb, was real.

It was even broadcasted on the local TV, telling people that it was indeed, a hoax. Not even a week has passed since the local authorities assured the public that it was indeed fake when other countries were simultaneously attacked by the same-looking creature, the only difference is that they came in numbers and were also bigger in size than the first one that was caught on camera.

We tried to fight them off for a few months but it was a losing battle even before it started. We weren't ready for this kind of attack. We were forced to go in hiding, bunkers were made by the military, but it was no use since the creatures can rip through the hardest metal.

With modern technology that humans invested in exploring the galaxy, it was established that an evacuation was necessary. Only a small percentage of the population of humanity survived.

Narvi, being the sixth planet from the sun, has many moons. One of them is Bergelmir, which is the only place in the galaxy that has hundreds of thousands of cubic kilometers of dry ice, and what scientists are left to do is release it.

By this process, scientists were able to replicate Earth's atmosphere even if it's only temporary. The process requires a lot of power. Scientists and engineers were able to create a power source by reusing spaceship parts that brought them to Bergelmir.

These power sources were drilled into the core of Belgemir and they call them, Aegis.
