"Could you please switch the song?" To Derek, I say. I sit in the passenger seat of his car as he drives.

"All right, which one ought to I play?" Derek queries me.

I truly do need music right now, and it has the power to completely shift anyone's mood.

"How about Lana Del Rey's West Coast?" I ask. For my part, I adore Lana Del Rey. She exudes a really classic American sense. Even though I've not been an American since birth, but I really connect with her vibes.

Derek plays West Coast. This is extremely necessary for me. My destination is Riggs' apartment. I'm grateful to Eiran for sharing to me Riggs information. It took him three days to look into Riggs' location. Derek, though, looks strange. He never says anything. I have no idea why he is acting this way.

Is he jealous of Eiran? No way.

We drove for thirty minutes before reaching Rigg's residence. I can see It's an enormous mansion with a white Victorian decor. Sounds royal. Is Riggs really this wealthy?

I also shot a quick glance at Eiran, who was standing there with his pricey Ferrari. He seems prepared. He had on pants and a coat in baby pink. Despite having a female aura, it seems manly.

Interesting.

I unlocked the car door on my own while and I am now walking over to him.

Eiran greet, "Hello, bellissima" He smiles endearingly. Anyone's mood can be completely transformed by his smile. Not that I'm getting sucked into his smile. Perhaps.

I said, "Hey," as I peered at the mansion. Not in Eiran.

"Don't you think this welcome is a little dull? Say 'Hey handsome' just". I can see his charming smile reveals a hint of mischief in his words.

I look at him, in disbelief. Does this man genuinely think of himself as handsome? Yes, he is extraordinarily attractive, like a Greek god himself, but nevertheless. So cocky.

"Oh! However, who looks good here?" I said in mockery to him.

"Madam, what are you saying? I'm—" Derek interrupted Eiran.

Derek yells to us both, "It's time for us to head inside." His voice sounds like he's giving us a harsh order.

Okay sir.

Eiran rolled his eyes at Derek's abrupt interpretation. Guys never, ever get along as buddies.

Mens, ugh!

"Yes, Derek, you're right. Let's head inside," I respond, attempting to defuse the situation in some way.

We make our way over to the mansion. I notice that there is a sizable garden full of crushed and dry flowers. Perhaps this is the result of carelessness. This area's greenery is nearly dead.

Derek unlocks the mansion's gate. A large hall is stocked with paintings and other items that appear unique and pricey. He's well off. Suddenly, the painting of Georgia comes into my focus. The intricacy in this picture is exquisite.

Georgia is seated on the couch in this artwork, and she is dressed in a dark olive green gown. Perfect.

This demonstrates how much in love Riggs is with Georgia. Perhaps. Mysterious.

"This painting by Riggs depicts Georgia." Speaking up, Eiran is standing behind me, staring at the same painting that I am.

Riggs paints and writes in a kind of peaceful style. Sounds fascinating. If he's not a real killer, then we can be friends. Ugh! I have to put this case ahead of my friendship with this random person.

Derek yelled in a harsh voice, "There is nobody in the basement and this ground floor."

"Have you looked in the rooms upstairs?" I make a request to Derek.

"Not just yet," replies Derek.

"All right, let's go upstairs." Derek was already rushing upstairs to check, so I placed my order and moved.

Eiran comes up behind me and says, "Excuse me, Madam, you forgot me." This kid, ugh.

"Do you want to come with me or otherwise stand here all day like a statue?" I ask, making a move.

"Well, I'd like to accompany you," he said, rushing over to me.

Thank god.

I can see that there are a lot of rooms in the hallways. I head for the first room that comes into view.

The colors of white and brown dominate this space.

"Check out this cosmetics for girls. Um... Is this your natural beauty, or do you apply makeup?" Eiran asks, toying with a random lipstick.

"Put this down. Idiot! Do you realize we can find evidence like fingerprints on this lipstick?" I yelled.

Eiran responds, "Oh, you have to teach me first," and hastily removes her lipstick.

Fuck.

I say to myself, "I believe this to be Georgia's room."

"You're right, of course." eiran whispers as if mimicking me.

"Could you just for a second be serious?" I inquire with a tense tone.

"Indeed, for you. Thus, going forward, I'm serious," he answers in a gloomy manner.

Thank god.

Derek calls out, "Ma'am, I think I found a note." His voice comes from the other room.

A note?
