Victoria POV

"Y'all don't have any updates about who killed Ryan?" I asked Detective Reynolds as I sat in his office for the second time this week

I didn't play about my babies, I wasn't going to rest until I got justice for my Chucky!

Most people thought I just smoked my life away, and honestly, I do but believe it or not, I'm actually really smart.

"We're marking off suspects every day Tori believe me, we're working on it," Detective Reynolds told me as she flipped through Ryan's case file

I knew Detectives couldn't really share any real information about open cases to the public but that didn't stop me from trying every day.

"you gotta give me more than that" I crossed my arms and I heard the female detective let out a deep sigh knowing I wasn't gonna leave until I got a little more information

"you're gonna get me fired" The woman spoke and I just pursed my lips at her

"Do I look like a snitch to you?" I asked the woman and she just rolled her eyes sliding me a picture

As I stared at the picture I began to feel so confused. It was a picture of Ryan and Makai conversing in what seemed to be a parking garage...

"According to our insider, this was about 2 days before he dropped Judah off at The Carter's house and about a month before Ryan was murdered," Detective Reynolds told me and my face scrunched up in disgust

I didn't even want to see anymore, I was immediately pissed off. I just grabbed my purse and left

As I got in my car, I grabbed my phone and FaceTimed Mama Bey to tell her what I had just found out...

It rang for a while but she eventually picked up, I could see her also driving.

"Ma, What you doing?" I asked connecting the call to my car so I could drive off

"I'm out buying stuff for the twin's birthday party, What's wrong?" She asked me and I just shrugged pulling onto the road

I can't lie, I was going like 90 down the road but that's a perk of driving a Hellcat, my shit stayed in sport

"Man, I just left Detective Reynolds office and you won't believe the shit she just showed me Ma" I shook my head swerving in and out of traffic because I couldn't stand slow drivers

"You need to slow down before you get pulled over!" Mama Bey said and my face scrunched in confusion wondering how she knew I was speeding

"You just passed me, turn at the galleria... we can talk more there," Mama Bey told me and I'm so glad she said that because I didn't like talking over the phone anyways

I hit that turn into the Galleria so hard, you could hear the tires screeching but I don't really give a fuck though... I wasn't about to hit a U-turn, it takes extremely way too much energy to do all that

"Omg, you just pulled out in front of oncoming traffic!" I heard Mama Bey yell as I parked my car

"they knew not to hit moonlight... I'm highly respected on the roadways" I laughed and I heard Mama Bey scoff through the phone pulling in right next to me
