I realise now how weirdly you'd been acting since arriving at Manchester. Your texts had gotten shorter, our Skype calls became seemingly meaningless to you.

You didn't show your phone to your friends to show me off like you did when I was in Asia. That time, when you were with friends, you'd postpone the call and call me back at midnight. After five minutes, you'd say you needed to sleep.

But I never expected you to just stop. I never expected you to stop dreaming about our future together. I never expected you to leave.
