It's been a few months since Damien killed and joined Superman. Me and Batman have been trying to Superman as he continues to kill more and more people and while trying rule the world. Dick Grayson was shocked that Daimen killed, and we were about to figure out what to do when Superman made a speech about his intentions to remove the dangerous inmates from Arkham Asylum and put them somewhere where they can never hurt anyone ever again. Batman took the Bat-Plane and me and Nightwing took our motorcycles to the Asylum.
3rd POV:
In the Asylum, Superman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and Robin (Damien Wayne) were walking with a doctor.
Doctor: He's at a very important stage in his treatment.
Wonder Woman: I'm afraid we've lost confidence in this facility, Doctor. The inmates will be moved.
Doctor: And you get to decide that?
Batman: No.
They look up and see Batman and Nightwing land as Dark Avain crashes through the window ceiling staring at Superman.
Cyborg: You were right. They're exactly where you said they'd be.
Batman, Nightwing and Dark Avain look at Robin.
Robin: Protecting these monsters.
Nightwing: Robin, what are you doing?
Robin: Bringing criminals to justice. I'm standing with Superman.
Dark Avain: Yeah, and Superman is ruling through intimidation, murder, and fear. He's just liked these criminals. He's no better than them.
Robin: Really, look who you're standing with, Bane, Killer Croc, and whoever that is.
He points to Calendar Man.
Superman: I know you won't step aside but you're not going to stop us.
Batman: You don't belong here.
Scarecrow: Lois's death still haunts you. I can see it in your face. You think you're responsible for her death.
Superman: Cyborg. Cell 83, Scarecrow.
Cyborg opens a portal and Scarecrow gets sucked into it and the portal closes.
Nightwing: Where are you taking them?
Superman: All you need to know is that it's escape proof.
Wonder Woman: Cell 86, Mad Hatter.
Another portal opens and Mad Hatter gets sucked into it.
Batman: Last chance, Cyborg. Stop.
Cyborg: All right, Riddler, time to go.
Suddenly Dark Avain pulls out a Kypronite knife and slashes Superman's chsest which makes everyone stop. Superman looks up at him angry.
Dark Avain: Superman, I don't want to fight-
Superman punches Dark Avain as his knife goes flying and he gets up and pulls out birdarangs and before they could fight the PA system came in and Harley voice came into the speaker.
Harley (On PA): Residents of Arkham! This is your beloved Harley.
Batman turns to Green Arrow.
Batman: You didn't put her in a cell?
Green Arrow: I left her handcuffed with a guard.
Nightwing: Oh God. Who? Kenneth?
Harley (On PA): Superman took away Mister J. and now it looks like he wants to take us all away! I'm letting you out. I'm giving you a chance to defend yourselves.
All the cells opened, and every single criminal came out. All of the heroes stood beside each other.
Dark Avian: I recommend putting aside your differences.
Superman: For now.
They all fought the criminals as Batman took on Bane, Superman took on Clayface, and Dark Avain fought Killer Croc. Dark Avain threw a bomb at Killer Croc and it launches him into a wall, and he gets up and runs at him, but Dark Avain leaps on him and guides him back into the prison cell.
Nightwing frees Robin.
Robin: I had it under control.
Nightwing: Yeah, everyone sees that.
Suddenly three more criminals Calendar man, Riddler, and Deadshot ran over to the two. Robin easily knocked Deadshot to the ground and saw Riddler running over only for Robin to turn around and Riddler ran as Robin caught him and started to beat him up.
Robin: I am so sick of all of you. You think you deserve help? After everyone you've hurt. You think society owes you freaks anything?! You're as bad as him! Superman is right. They don't deserve our protection.
Dark Avain: Robin, that's enough! Robin doesn't beat people once they're down.
Robin: STOP TELLING ME WHAT TO DO!
Robin threw one of his nightsticks and it hit Dark Avain in the head and he fall, and he landed on the Kypronite knife and it goes into his neck with blood coming out... killing him.
Robin: Dark Avian?
Nightwing: Y/N...?
Superman sees Dark Avain and he slams his fist on the ground sending out a massive shockwave knocking everyone back.
Superman: Back to your cells. Now!
All the criminals run back into their cells and Batman sees Dark Avain while Robin looks at Batman with tears coming out.
Robin: I'm sorry.
Batman looks shocked.
Batman: You... What did you do?
He then falls to his knees with his hands on his head.
Batman: What did YOU DO?!
Robin: I didn't mean to-
Batman runs over and pushes Robin off.
Batman: GET OFF HIM!!
Batman looks at Dark Avain with tears in his eyes. He then picks him up and begins to walk out of the asylum.
Robin: I didn't...
Superman: I know son.
Batman stop and looks directly at Robin.
Batman: I thought I could redeem you. I was wrong.
Batman takes Dark Avain's body and carries him out of the Asylum while tears stream down his face...
Batman POV:
There's a scream that can't be silenced. It's rising. Growing louder. And louder. It's the scream of a child being abandoned, suddenly, long ago. As the scream echoed then in that alley, it echoes now in my mind. It penetrates all the dark places. It slams into the loss. It bounces against the regret... and the pain. He's gone. I'm abandoned again. My son is dead.
