Jhanvi's POV

As soon as he completed, I couldn't feel anything in me. It's all my fault. I inhaled a deep breath to get off the tightness in my chest, I'm feeling right now after the revelation.

My child has gone through so much, still she acted like nothing have happened. There were so much things hurting inside her, still she plastered that warm smile infront of me acting like she's the most happiest person on the earth!

Tears were nonstop on my eyes.

And he??!

My baby has seen him, realising he's her father! How would she felt seeing him? How her heart must've clenched?

The door of ICU opened revealing the doctor, I stood up instantly.

"Don't need to worry! Your daughter is out of danger!" The doctor's words gave me a glimpse of relief.

"But needs bedrest. Won't be able to walk properly until the pain reliefs. For now, we will shift her from ICU to the room. Then you can meet her." The doctor said.

Thank you so much God!

"Let's go!" Ishaan's voice caught my attention as I snapped my head towards.

My eyes met his for a second, he moved fastly from here.

"Take care," Bhabhi said.

I just nodded at her. I noticed Vedant was still standing there.

"It will take time, you seems so tired. You can meet her later." I told him as he nodded at me.

They left.

"You can meet her now. She has gained her consciousness." The doctor informed me.

I nodded at the doctor and was about to take a step, Rahul and Seema arrived.

"Ma'am, how's your baby?" Seema voiced out in concern.

"Is she alright?" Rahul asked.

I nodded with a painful smile.

"Ma'am, I've brought the food for you and her." Seema exclaimed.

"You don't need-"

"Ma'am, the food in the canteen isn't good." Seema whispered.

"Thank you so much." I said, as Rahul gave a small smile and Seema grinned.

"Ma'am, you don't need to take tensions regarding the function. We will take care of it, well!"

I nodded at them with a smile.

"We will meet her later, as we are running out of time." Rahul said.

I smiled. And they left.

It's been a day, she was unconscious. Few minutes before, they shifted her to the room. I slowly pushed the door and entered inside to see her lying there, while wires attached to her body. I sat on the bed infront of her. She looked at me, trying to sit. I helped her and she sat while resting her back on the pillow.

With her grey eyes she looked at me. I wanted to say so many things to her but words hung in my throat.

"I'm hungry." Her words grabbed my attention.

I opened the box and found it was porridge. I stirred the porridge once with the spoon and fed her. Without throwing any tantrums she took it in her mouth and gulped.

I fed her. She gulped staring at me.

I kept the empty tiffin box on the table there.

"Mommy, are you still angry on me? I promise, I won't use that type of words again. I will not fight with anyone. Sorry, please talk to me. Please don't be angry at me." She cried out.

I sat back on the bed infront of her, and hugged her. She pressed her face on my neck, she sobbed.

I patted her head, while tears made it's way from my eyes too.

"Nivi," I cupped her cheek and wiped the tears with my thumb.

"Are you alright?" I asked.

"It's hurting here." She pointed her midriff.

"It will be Okay soon." I patted her cheek and kissed her forehead.

"How long can I stay angry on you?" I asked as more tears came from my eyes.

"Mommy," she muttered and kept her face on my chest.

"Nivi, don't bend too much." I said.

"I'm not." She said still leaning her back on the pillow and her face on my chest.

I ruffled her hairs.

"Nivi," I called her softly.

She hummed.

"The person whom I thought as my saviour and home turned out to be the best lesson to me. He betrayed me. Karan!" I said remembering those incidents.

"I was left hopeless, meaningless and utterly lonely. I had nobody. I was walking through the footpath not knowing the destination, all drenched in the rain. I stopped realising that I'm walking above the bridge. There was a river, beneath the bridge. I made up my mind to jump from there and end my life. I moved towards the another side of the bridge while crossing the road. While crossing the road, I felt darkness all over." I said.

Her face was telling me to continue.

"When I opened my eyes, I found I was in hospital. Someone has admitted me there. The doctor told me that I was pregnant." I said and looked at her.

"I was left with no one that I choosed death but you, your presence brought me back to life. You made me feel special, happy and contented. If I'm alive, then it's because of you. I didn't want an innocent soul die because of me. It's me who betrayed your father, played with his feelings but the fate punished me. Even in that pain, God gifted me you. You're not the problem, baby. It's not your fault to born like this. " I said as tears rolled down from my eyes. My voice was breaking in between.

"You're the only reason that induced me to live. If you didn't born, then I wouldn't be alive either. I'm lucky." I said.

"I'm sorry!" I muttered pressing my face on her head.

"Mommy, I don't care. Let whoever think whatever! You're the best mother in this world for me. I love you so much. I don't care what others think of you. Not you, but I'm lucky to have a mother like you." She said wiping my tears and kissed my forehead.

I chuckled while wiping my tears. She gave me her toothy smile.
